My 3 female colleges asked for a recommendation from our hotel, we were surprised to see it was a sports bar that customer based was men and was very similar to a Hooters.

My family and I had a great meal here. We were able to walk right in and get a table immediately. I ordered a cheeseburger and it was wonderful. I like mine well done, and this was cooked perfectly - no pink but still juicy. The fries had a great seasoning and were crispy & salty perfection. The rest of... More

This is your typical sports bar that you can find in any city. It lacks atmosphere. Lots of TVs, good beer selection, and pub food. You can do so much better in New Orleans. Unless you are staying close by, give it a miss as there is no compelling reason to visit

Was staying at the Hyatt wanted off hotel food it was within walking distance..great sports bar atmosphere with TV's variety of bar food leaning towards NOLA fare! Great attentive staff sat at the bar and could not go wrong. Great selection of bar food with ample portions!

They have great local food. Seafood salad and red beans and rice are excellent. Wide choice of beer and good service - highly recommended!

I state not much atmosphere because we were seated right next to the server computer station. The food was good and I opted for one of their uniquely named menu options, Crawfish Etou-Ways. It was quite tasty and I would order it again. Also our server who stated that she was going to attend Loyola University did not know that... More

There were 5 of us and we got mozzarella sticks and fried pickles for appetizers. There was plenty to share. I got the grilled chicken plate, with a drink. The chicken was tasty, the loaded potato was good as well. The server was nice, service was very good. All 5 of us were happy with the apps and our main... More

Off the beaten path in NOLA but still right in the heart of the city across from the old Ralph and Cakoos. It was a great treat. Excellent service, amazing atmosphere, light live music, and good variety on the menu. We enjoyed everything.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
