Sit outside to enjoy your food on the patio and people watch. Great selection with tasty pho - the spring rolls are the best I've ever had anywhere.

Don't know what you want to eat? This is your place. The meal comes with a little of everything. And add the egg rolls. They are fantastic

I have had Vietnamese food all over the country, and this is hands down the best. Prices are great, staff is friendly, and the seating can accommodate a group as well as a solo eater.

Walking along magazine street we needed some lunch. The area has many options including many ethnic restaurants. I have just spent 3 weeks in Vietnam and I had a want for a bahn mi. I got a iced green tea, and we started with crab Rangoon and a pork bun. Both were very tasty. I could have eaten a few... More

I have eaten here several times and always found it decent. Last time, however, I had the seafood soup and the seafood did not taste fresh and was extremely rubbery. My wife spat out a particularly terrible chunk of calamari. That's going to be the last visit for me, as this is unacceptable for a New Orleans restaurant.

Tasty and affordable. The brisket pho was very good. No alcohol served, but you can BYOB. A nice place to sit and enjoy a lunch or dinner.

Pho not much flavor; leaning grass chicken too hot to eat. Would not return. No sympathy from server.

Wonderful find on Magazine St - some of the best Vietnamese food that I've ever had. Fresh rolls were flavorful and packed full of ingredients.. Panko Shrimp balls were incredible. Both Pho and Bun dishes were fantastic. No skimping on ingredients here....Broth was flavorful and incredibly aromatic. Will go back in a heartbeat!

This was a pleasant find. The broth for the Pho was excellent and flavorful. The curry beef in the bun had nice flavor. This is a bit of a hole in the wall, but it was pretty busy when we were there for lunch. The prices are good and we will gladly eat here again.

Below average compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the New Orleans area. I had spring rolls with lemongrass chicken and bun (vermicelli salad) with pork. The chicken on the spring rolls was reheated, so the spring roll was served warm. The chicken did not have much lemongrass flavor. The pork was also precooked and kept in a warmer. The meat... More

Staying in Garden District

Neighbourhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
