Grabbed a quick dinner here. I got the shrimp poboy... so good! My friends all got different ones, and we all loved them. Happened to come in when it wasn't busy, and the food came out super fast. Cash only. Definitely recommend and will go back someday! They also had a sweet potato poboy, which is a great looking veg... More

Love , love love this place! Great dive with some of the best bartenders in town as well as generous drinks. The specialty frozen Irish coffee is a MUST HAVE. Great C.D. jukebox, the owner damn sure knows what music to put on. Great selection of beers and spirits. Quirky crap adorns the walls and I mean that in a... More

Simply the best poboys I have ever had. Place is barebones and cash only, but it is a great hangout and good company.

First off, Erin Rose is a classic dive bar. Everything you imagine in regards to a dive bar. But this is more about the Sandwiches. What we liked a lot about these was that the shrimp is not deep fried like all of the other PoBoy Shrimp Sandwiches. For me, that was a nice break considering the amount of booze... More

We had a lot of fun at Erin Rose Bar - we especially liked the iced Irish coffee. We went to Erin Rose specifically to get the poboys from Killer Poboys. They just were not good. We tried 3 different poboys. Overwhelmingly, the poboys were had too much pickle flavor. The bread was stale and not good. Recommend going down... More

My wife and I split the shrimp po'boy. Just wasn't as good as we expected. It's a hole in the wall at the back of the Erin Rose bar. We won't have a po'boy from here again.

I was not expecting to find such a yummy place to eat in the back of a dive bar. I got the shrimp poboy and it was delicious, it had an Asian to it. I highly recommend this spot. On the way out of the Erin Rose don't forget to get a frozen Irish coffee.

I had the pork belly glaze po'boy with lime slaw, and I ordered it right before 8:00 PM, when they closed. I dreamt about it the whole night. So delicious. The pork melts in your mouth with each bite, The lime slaw adds a nice compliment without being domineering.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
