This place fills up rather quickly so be prepared to wait. However, you won't regret that you did. The St Charles chicken was out of this world. My boyfriend had the peacemaker and chose shrimp and pork, both outstanding. The service is lightening fast and bartenders are very friendly. The bacon bloody mary is award winning. Highly recommend!

The food was good, especially the shoe string fries served with my burger. My fave was the bloody mary with all the trimmings. Great spiciness. I would have had another, but they were closing up and no one offered...that's what you get with American service...everyone ignores you at end of shift. So don't come too late!

We have come to like the Ruby Slipper very much. This location is our favorite so far. This location does not get the crazy long waits like the other locations. The food was good and the service was friendly and attentive. We recommend to our family and friends locally and to those that visit. You will not be disappointed.

Walked in and had too wait 10 mins for a table. Sat down and ordered 2 poached eggs on rice and beans my meal was quite nice and enjoyable. My partner ordered the turkey rueben, one of his favourite sandwich's and he hated it. He said it was one of the worst meals he has had this whole 4 week... More

Food and service was great. Save LOTS of time by booking you a reservation on Yelp or NoWait - they'll notify you to give you time to arrive. My husband had the Costa Rican and I had the traditional breakfast. The cane butter for the biscuit was divine.

Good service, food fine, restaurant fun and clean. Easy brunch setting for groups, couples, friends of all kinds. BBQ Shrimp/Grits expected, turkey sandwich great. Would give a higher rating, but we were there about 45 minutes before closing and the floor in the back dining area, hall, and to the restroom was super wet and slippery. They eagerly mop and... All four of us enjoyed our lunch at The Ruby Slipper Café. The wait staff helped explain our options and all of us had an excellent meal. The prices at New Orleans tend be high and I thought we definitely got our monies worth here. My daughters French toast was enough for her and she still had plenty to share.... More

Mediocre food, tourist stop only. Food was not good, arrived cold and tasteless. Would not go back. Not worth the line or the time.

Thank Bonnie W
