Took my son and his friends to Jacques-Imo's for dinner and everyone was pleased. The food was delicious and it was a really fun place. Nice beer selection and excellent service were an added plus.

I rated this an excellent restaurant because of its delicious food and personable service--but the but in the title has to do with the fact that I was charged for ice for the drink I ordered. My order was for a vodka on the rocks----the...More

Jacques-Imo's is a classic New Orleans restaurant. They are famous for their alligator cheesecake appetizer. It is an amazing dish! The restaurant is on the very fun Oak Street in Uptown, close to the streetcar line. It is well worth the trip!

Jacques-Imo's is a New Orleans institution. The din is loud, the music is louder. The offerings on the extensive menu have something to please everyone. The shrimp and alligator sausage cheesecake (not found anywhere else) is smooth and full of alligator and shrimp. The fried...More

Awesome place uptown with good food and great service. The shrimp and alligator cheesecake is phenomenal and worth the trip. Only 4 stars because it's a little overpriced and the shrimp Creole was slightly overcooked.

Very much their own self sufficient unit within the

Check on Yelp. Their food was just ok, I'd check out Brigsten's in the same neighborhood.
