As recommended by our waitress, we ordered the drum and the ribeye. The fish was decent, but most of the ribeye was inedible. It was full of grizzle and fat. We've eaten at less expensive and lesser know area restaurants with. Ether food. The service...More

Loved the atmosphere and the service was top notch ... but it was the food that was exceptional. The BBQ shrimp, the veal, the drum, the cobbler, all were cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. The meal wasn't cheap but it was worth it.

I enjoyed the superb Gulf Shrimp Creole sitting in the welcoming bar area to the warm relaxed notes of the piano musician keeping me company. A lovely New Orleans experience for a lonely business traveller on Saturday night.

From the moment you step into this restaurant, you are treated very well. The dinner menu listed many options and the wine list was extensive. I ordered lobster bisque soup and the pork chop. Both were outstanding!

After much anticipation of enjoying a meal with friends at a favorite chef's restaurant I am sad to say that we were greatly disappointed. The noise level was extremely distracting due to several large parties. We could not have a conversation at all. Large parties...More

Two things I loved about this restaurant the staff and the BBQ shrimp and grits smothered brown gravy. The staff was extremely accommodating from recommendations on food choices to providing to go cups for my wine. And I've never liked grits but thought I'd give...More

Located on the famed St. Charles Avenue streetcar line, Delmonico, the legendary, century-old institution, is an icon in the restaurant industry and has been a cornerstone of traditional Creole dining since 1895.
