Irene’s is moving within the next 12 months. Packed house Wednesday night be for Thanksgiving. Cioppino and steak. Excellent food. Great service and 8$ Bread Pudding. Loud and dark and hundred of artifacts on the wall. Dinner only.

We had a wonderful meal our first nite in NOLA. Pasta dish was great, fish almondine delicious. Wine list is good. Servers and service was attentive, not pushy and accommodating. Loved it —-as compared to the other places in NOLA that are not friendly to...More

This is an excellent choice for a wonderful, different cajun Italian cuisine. We did not have reservations, but only had to wait about 45 minutes in the bar. The waits were very congenial and welcomed us as if we had been coming for years. The...More

This was an experience from start to finish. First, we arrived at 5:15 pm, because from all the reviews we believed that if we didn't have a reservation, it's best to get there right at opening. Turns out, on a Wednesday night, we would have...More

Ok, everyone makes the plan to have one "really good" dinner every trip. Usually that means really expensive. Well, this is a good place to have that dinner. It is expensive, but they have the food to back it up, and that is saying a...More

Plentiful and delicious food in an old timey restaurant. Been here often and am always pleased by the food, wine and service. Be sure to make reservations.

Went for dinner at Irene's with one other couple. Sat us in back corner of restaurant. VERY TIGHT seating. Forget about going to bathroom once your seated. It was also loud just from everyone talking. We did hear that they were moving so hopefully bigger...More

My sister and I took a chance without reservations and got in as soon as they opened. From beginning to end it was fabulous! We both had the Steak Spinalis and Bibb salad and it was delicious and cooked to perfection. We've eaten steak all...More

There is some on street parking but watch that you park legally or they'll tow you . There are paid parking lots and then you can walk a couple of blocks to the restaurant.

Call at least a week in advance, the fact that you are flexible with dates will help.

You should be able to make reservations over the phone. Mardi Gras may have affected the hours they are open.
