Had a fabulous and delicious dinner with the family while on vacation in New Orleans. The wait staff was very attentive. Desserts were the best- creme brulee and bread pudding souffle!

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our lunch and the .25 cent martinis. The atmosphere was great and the service by the two Taylors and Sebastian were outstanding. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting New Orleans!

We enjoyed our lunch at Commander's Palace. The jazz musicians come right up to your table and play what you request. Food was good, but I thought many places were equally as good. The experience was nice and we enjoyed crossing the street to the...More

There are few places anymore where you need to dress your best and pull out all finery. This, thank goodness, is still one of them. In exchange (altho I'm sure they treat everyone nicely), you will receive a level of service unmatched anywhere else. The...More

The service here equals the fine food. It was so nice to dine in a place with a dress code and not feel rushed to eat and leave. This is truly fine dining, but very warm and welcoming, and the food is delicious.

Absolutely. Sandals are fine. The website says that men should wear jackets. That is really not necessary, as long as the man wears a button down shirt. Women were wearing nice casual clothing when we were there on a... More

Commander's Palace is in a residential neighborhood. It is in the Garden District, an upscale area. CP has valet parking or some people just park on the street. I have always taken a cab or Uber.

Commander's Palace welcomes everyone but we do have a dress code. It's a festive atmosphere! Shorts are never allowed. Inventive modern New Orleans cooking coexists with our Haute Creole. Sense the team's professional grace clothed in the warmth of the Brennan Family's brand of hospitality. From your first sip of a Sazerac to your last crumb of bread pudding soufflé, we hope you are pampered and delighted...and go ahead be a little bad...that's what living in New Orleans is all about.
