Great place to get brunch! You can then go across the street and walk it off through Jackson Square. The food was great and the service was exceptional!

Gorgeous and wonderful. Charming interior and great attention to detail. Meals in side and drinks only on the balcony which would be perfect to look at all the activities in Jackson Square. The blackened catfish was DELICIOUS! Such.A.Treat Seafood gumbo was amazing as well.

One of the restaurants we come back to again and again when we’re in New Orleans. Fantastic location. Their brunch is classic and continues to be our favorite.

We ate here not really prepared for the elegant atmosphere. We were greetes by an amazing, attentive staff who was only outshined by the pork chop. Coming from a steak man, this is probably the best cut of meat I have ever had. Delicious!

We love Muriel’s!! The food is consistently outstanding and the service impeccable. Ambience is charming and typically New Orleans. The restaurant is, in fact, in an eighteenth century French Quarter home. The downstairs dining room opens onto the street when the weather allows, so you...More

I recently visited Muriel’s after making a booking to get in (recommend) the starter and main were amazing, a creamy gnocchi and the chops melted in the mouth, the sweet potato pecan mash was just beautiful. Would definitely recommend worth a visit

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty

around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

Not sure if there is any formal code, but my party did not wear sports coats or ties, but did wear collared shirts and long pants. I did however observe another diner wearing a t-shirt.

Pretty lax, I would recommend at least a collared shirt or a button down (no sneakers) for a man, something nice, dress, or classy jeans and top for a women, no flip flops.

The Bistro at Muriel’s Jackson Square offers New Orleans classics like Gumbo, BBQ Shrimp, Oysters "Muriel", Turtle soup, Fried Gulf Shrimp Po-boy, Crabmeat Imperial, Shrimp Remoulade & contemporary Creole cuisine like Pecan Crusted Drum & Wood Grilled Tuna while the Courtyard Bar is the perfect place to drop by for drinks & appetizers. The Séance Lounge is the place for a relaxed, comfortable meeting before or after dining. Comprised of two areas, The Outer & The Inner Séance, the Séance also tells the story of a mystic & checkered past. The Outer Séance addresses the New Orleans era of Storyville & when Muriel's Jackson Square was one of the French Quarter's best bordellos! The Inner Séance is the preferred domain of the resident ghost, Pierre Antoine Lepardi Jourdan, & is the perfect spot for an intimate conversation & a drink amongst its plush surroundings.
