Historically, NOLA’s has made my short list for visits to New Orleans. In the past, consistently a favorite for food, funkiness, and flair. This visit couldn’t have been further from the truth. Two friends, who have never visited New Orleans, entrusted me to plan an...More

NOLA was a lace we heard of from friends. Exactly as they described. Smaller size portions (if you’re starving, might try somewhere else). And kind of expensive. We wanted a dinner that was better than most places so from that perspective the food was spot...More

My husband and I had an amazing culinary experience several years ago at NOLA. We ordered from the waiter’s suggestions, and were blown away. Fast forward to 2018. We returned with much anticipation. We were sorely disappointed. For a city known for its cuisine, NOLA’s...More

Went here for a dinner at a national meeting. The revered pork chop was good, but my buddy's duck was awesome. Nuff said. Stop looking at the rest of the menu.

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living

NOLA is chef/restaurateur Emeril Lagasse’s casual eatery in the heart of New Orleans’ French Quarter. Open since 1992, the critically-acclaimed restaurant fuses traditional Creole, Acadian and Southern cuisine with global influences. Chef de Cuisine Philip Buccieri works closely with Chef Emeril to create an innovative menu showcasing rustic Louisiana cooking with local ingredients and some ethnic twists. The three-story restaurant features an open-action kitchen, chef’s food bar and a signature wood-fired brick oven. NOLA was renovated in 2017 and is now open daily at 11:30 am serving one menu for lunch and dinner.
