Last year I wrote a fabulous review for Brennan's. And I am sure the food is still great. My disappointment is from their closing the bar for a special event. Sure it happens. But I called on Wednesday to see if reservations could be made...More

Our friends of >50 yrs joined us for Bananas Foster flambé table side last night and were not disappointed. We all ordered the iconic dessert along with 4 Jameson coffees. Although our bill was $105 with tip and a $20 to get us a table,...More

We visited Brennan's for breakfast. We started with Raspberry Crepes followed by Eggs Cardinal and a Seafood Omelette. Every dish was delicious. What really stood out was the outstanding and friendly service at Brennan's. Since it was our anniversary we were served complimentary champagne.

We were at a conference in New Orleans this past week and hosted a 40 person event at Brennan's. We wanted something that really exemplified New Orleans since attendees were travelling from across the globe. We knew Brennan's had an excellent reputation and a New...More

The chef at Brennan's know what he's doing, and the service is excellent. Also, the Sazerac was the best I've ever had. That said, there is something lacking that took a star away. For one, it is crazy expensive--more than the food warrants. While the...More

We enjoyed our dinner. Nothing stands out in my mind. The waiters were flying around like crazy because the crowds were huge.

We had lunch here because we love this iconic restaurant. Good stuff first: great service ( seated us in the front dining room when they first wanted to sit us in the back garden area which I do not like). Great staff in the dining...More

I chose the Wine Room to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday with our children, the adult grandchildren and our best friends. The service was wonderful. I had chosen menu options ahead of time and each dish was well prepared, came hot and was perfectly done....More

We hit the place at happy hour. The smell made my sister and I not happy. The restaurant smelled like cafeteria, old person home and vomit. But, we were at a historic restaurant so we chose to sit outside. Got a great picture with the...More

I would recommend lunch or brunch. They are know for their Eggs Benedict with several variations, the turtle soup, and the Bananas Foster.

They will certainly have some dishes to accommodate your dietary restrictions. But I agree with others that you won’t be able to enjoy the classic favorites. There are many other vegetarian friendly restaurants that would... More

The original Brennan's, opened in 1946, recently emerged from an extensive renovation that spared no effort or expense by new co-owners Terry White and Ralph Brennan. Eight glamorous dining rooms, each steeped in New Orleans architecture and ambiance, celebrate the opulence of dining in a city where breakfast revelry is taken as seriously as a decadent dinner. Acclaimed Chef Slade Rushing's menus are rooted in Creole traditions and are bolstered with contemporary New Orleans influences. Marrying classic and modern techniques yields a decidedly innovative approach and enhances our local, seasonal offerings. Brennan's old-world elegance, fanciful decor and pampering service create a unique and sophisticated backdrop for a most memorable meal. Welcome!
