We had a wonderful meal at Bayona! The service was very friendly and wonderful. The food was very good. And, they even decorated the dessert for a special occasion.

This charming fine dining restaurant features original French-inspired dishes prepared exquisitely. We had the eggplant caviar and tomato basil soup for appetizers, the Bayona salad and tomato avocado salad, peppered lamb loin, and shoulder filet. All were outstanding. The only reason I didn't give 5...More

The food and the setting is nothing special. I really can't see a reason why you would want to spend a fair amount of money for a 1970s restaurant and menu. Good wine list though.

The entrance is on the side of the restaurant through the old corridors characteristic of the quarter. There is choice between the outdoor patio, the main dinning room and a cozy and interesting attic space on the second floor. The menu is complete with select...More

I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed this restaurant. First, the decor is very quiet and comfortable. Lovely furnishings and atmosphere. And the food was heavenly. I had the lamb loin which was done to perfection....a great char on the outside and perfectly...More

I’m a little torn about this place. Even though my boyfriend didn’t want me to pay or get the Travelzoo I did anyway. I thought it was a really good deal. The place is really cozy/romantic/classic french quarter fancy restaurant. Our server was pretty good,...More

So I really wanted to love this restaurant, but we left a bit disappointed. It was a beautiful space and we sat in the romantic courtyard. Our server was Jane and I can't say enough great things about her. She was wonderful. The food however...More

We had a group go and had a reservation in a private room upstairs. The wait staff were great - keep the drinks full and and the dishes turning. The food was good. With a large group it’s hard to balance the number of guests,...More

Expensive Fine Dining in the French Quarter. Bring a big appetite and thick wallet. Reservation are required, request a table downstairs. Contrary to some reviews, the wait staff were friendly and courteous. We were seated promptly at 8pm. My entrée was lamb and cooked perfectly.

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty

A sample dinner menu is definitely on the website, but you can count on it covering a lot of bases--fish, beef, pork, duck--and doing so exquisitely. Their fabulous veal sweetbreads are always on the menu. Entrees average... More
