We had not been here before, and we waited over a half hour for a table, but it was so worth it, we’ll do it again. The family and staff could not be nicer and the grilled oysters were delicious. We’ll be back.

Please do not go to Casamento's if you care for fine dining, pretty tableware, interior with intimate atmosphere, and pleasing decor. Therea are plenty of places that will meet your expectations on Magazine St. or anywhere in Garden District. Please make sure, though, that you...More

We had the oysters on the half shell and the fried seafood plate with trout. All were very good with the oysters being super tender and flavorful. The fried trout was also excellent.

Great food. Delicious Oysters, Poo Boys are outrageously good. Their trout dinner was excellent. I know they have a lot of fried items, but they know what they're doing. Items perfectly cooked, not greasy at all. All the seafood items we had were amazingly fresh....More

Fresh oysters, great oyster stew, awesome staff and all at a very reasonable price. Get there early or bring a book. Worth the wait!

This is a great place for oysters. It’s only open in Oyster months, only takes cash, and don’t expect to get a table for more than 4 people. Oyster’s are their thing, and they are great. Recently went and had raw oysters, grilled oysters, oyster...More
