A group of friends traveled to Louisiana to celebrate two 60th birthdays and enjoyed a memorable dinner at Antoine's. Although we didn't specifically request it, they gave us a gorgeous private room - The Escargot Room and that made the evening extra special. We had...More

The restaurant is one of the first restaurants in NOLA and the French restaurant is always busy. Service was friendly and both the menu and wine list has a good selection. However the taste is just average and is a bit too salty for me....More

I have been here twice. Once for my anniversary and then again recently for my mom's birthday. The food is delicious but I'm not a huge fan of the front room. The vibe doesn't match the style of the restaurant. I had a great experience...More

I arrived after a day of conference really looking forward to this meal...got seated at the furthest possible table from the entrance in the red room (which has all the charm of a Golden Corral!) Would have understood if the place was more than the...More

We had lunch here, at $20.17 for 3 courses plus 25 cent drink special. It was an amazing experience, and we absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed the beautiful historic setting. A waiter gave us a tour of the 14 dining rooms,...More

We were seated in the "dungeon" room....very quiet. Boudreau and Kent took very good care of us. Antoine's offered a special luncheon menu in addition to the a la carte. I asked for the 3 appetizers on the special menu and it was no problem...More

I was extremely excited to go to Antoine's, because I knew they'd begun Oysters Rockefeller. Those Oysters Rockefeller did not disappoint; they were absolutely fabulous! And I really enjoyed my "French 75" drink. But I don't recall what I had for an entree, it was...More

When I think Jazz Brunch, I'm thinking brass band New Orleans Jazz. Not a woman singing lounge tunes and a guy with a casio keyboard. HUGE disappointment. On top of that, they only played two songs and left. So the majority of my Jazz Brunch...More

They have a great array of traditional New Orleans dishes here. Apparently oysters Rockefeller was invented by this restaurant. Great seafood gumbo. Try the fried soft shelled crabs. Amazing.

Antoine's is definitely fine dining. This is a beautiful restaurant with really cool waiters, some of which have been there 30 years or more. Enjoy any of the entrees but save room for the bread pudding which is the best in NOLA.

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living

On our recent visit, we saw no sign of a dress code. People were in whatever they in off the street in. Sandals, shorts, t-shirts, jeans. Not the jacket only code of yesteryear.

It is too bad they don't take note of the feed back. I'm going back to NOLA in October and won't go there again.

I know there are balconies as my friend stood on it during their tour. However, I am not sure about outdoor dining on the balcony.
