This restaurant came highly recommended by locals. And although there were some highlights I definitely can’t say it was worth the wait or the price. To start the appetizer mussels were delicious however the house red was hardly drinkable and I probably should have sent...More

Had an amazing dinner here - flounder special was incredible and chicken parmigiana did not disappoint. Had a long wait on a Wednesday night (over an hour), but they let you wait in the bar downstairs with live music so it went by fast and...More

We had dinner here one night and were a bit disappointed with the food. It's a great little dive restaurant in Frenchman Street, and small so you usually have to wait to get a table. The food was okay but we thought the kitchen was...More

I don’t do online reviews of restaurants. This is my first. Adolfo’s inspired me to break my standing tradition of reviewing a restaurant. I have high expectations when I go out. I’m a foodie with two little ones, which is why I no longer get...More

This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. Don't judge a book by its cover. Once you get in food, service, and quaint atmosphere is amazing. The food is awesome...we were a table of 6...each ordered a different entre and all were delicious. It is...More

I would like to have rated this place higher, but there were some things I didn’t like about it. For starters, they don’t take reservations, so we walked here with the kids, and when we arrived were told there was a 1 hour wait, but...More

I chose this restaurant as our second and last meal of our NOLA trip based on the Frenchmen St. location and the good reviews. The food was good, but not great. The service, however, was good.

Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward,
the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely
residential. Of course, folks around here love to go
out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere
in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the
festivities, well then so much the better! Home to
some of the most revered live music venues in New
Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining

I would call. It's a small kitchen, so they may offer no carb foods but if you have celiac you need to watch the cross contamination of gluten.
