Bartender Lila props for great drinks, and helping our out of towners with drinks. I love the French 75, and the truffle fries awesome combo. Many places to sit and have conversations.

Happy hour is so great. Have to try the shrimp corndogs, they are amazing. They have great bar tenders and an amazing ice block to chip from, it is something to see.

Conveniently located at corner of Poydras and South Peters Street on ground floor of Loews Hotel, the bar is great and the restaurant is traditional Brennan family with a flair. Service outstanding. Fresh fish dishes. Good food.

My husband and I dined at Cafe Adelaide to celebrate our anniversary. I had the pickled shrimp and blue crab appetizer. The shrimp were like rubber and there was one tiny piece of crabmeat. The highlight of the meal were the shrimp corndogs which were...More

Dear Lafayette Foodie, I'm so sorry to read that you did not enjoy your dinner. We aim to offer the best Creole food in New Orleans, but we obviously failed to do that for you. I am passing on your comments to our team to...More

Cafe Adelaide is expensive, however the food and the service are solid. We dined at brunch and enjoyed the turtle soup and a couple of Benedict-style dishes. Staff was friendly and attentive. If you can't get to Commander's Palace, this is a great alternative from...More

We had a nice breakfast. The price was reasonable. The service was friendly. Cute decor. The bar seemed to be popular at night.

Very nice special Coolinary menu for August....2 courses prix fixe. Great value. Cheap 25 cent martinis! The only thing negative was that the fresh French Bread was not warmed.

We went there wondering what we would find for vegetarian food. The hostess at the entrance said she herself is vegetarian and agreed to find something. Indeed she did. The chef did a wonderful job of making something up that is tasty too. Great choice...More

Food OK nothing was either outstanding or bad..just middle of the road. Service was adequate. Ample good coffee was provided in a carafe table side. A little pricey for the value of the meal.

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

There is a private dining area. I don't think it can hold more than about 35 people. But I could be wrong. If you call their event person they would be more than happy to assist you and if not there they may be able to... More

When we dined there, we were in the main dining room and I don't recall that noise was an issue.
