Husband and I knew from the reviews that we had to try this joint after reading the reviews and they did not disappoint....the reviews and the restaurant. We took the advice to sit in the bar. We quaffed a Bloody Mary ( zing zang mix kicked up a notch with Loo-z-anna Crystal pepper sauce) and waited just briefly for lunch.... More

Hungry for a good po-boy, and maybe some gumbo, we decided to give this place a try. We waited in line to order with the rest of the hungry crowd, found a table quickly, and waited a very short time for our food to be freshly prepared. What we got was beyond well worth the wait in line! The food... More

This place is a hidden gem away from the French Quarter. I ordered the shrimp po'boy and my husband had the roast beef. They were both very good. They packed it full of shrimp so much that it was falling out of the sandwich. Not that I'm complaining ;) The atmosphere was laid back and relaxing. Definitely recommend!

We walked there from City Park where we spent the morning and it was a pleasant walk along the canal. The place has a great vibe, so despite not being really surprised by the food, though we enjoyed it, the nice weather and pleasant outdoor seating area had us walking out with a smile on our faces. We though the... More

My trip to Parkway certainly met my expectations. I had the shrimp Po Boy and it was great. I'll rate the Parkway experience higher than Domilise.

Just the name of this place makes me smile, bakery and Tavern lol. But so did the food. Open until 10 PM, it is easier to get fed here in the evening than it is at lunch. The lines are long here at lunch. The BEST Roast Beef and Gravy Po' Boys in the city, and that's saying a lot... More

We had a shrimp poor boy, fries and a cold bud light. Absolutely AMAZING! The service was also impeccable. I mean what more could you ask for... Even the parking was great. Hope you all enjoy. When your done stop by Finn McCools.

This out of The Quarter local joint is known by local foodies for having the best Po' Boys, and lines go around the block at lunch time. We ate early. I had 1/2 an oyster Po' Boy, and 1/2 a shrimp Po' Boy. CincoSteve had a roastbeef Po' Boy. Neither of us was disappointed. The bread reminded me of the... More

If you want to experience a true Po-Boy, GO HERE. This place has the best PoBoys in the entire city. And the sandwiches are HUGE. We all ordered larges, and each of us took half home. Debris is excellent, so is shrimp and catfish...my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Orders of Fries and fried pickles are huge, so... More

In a city where seemingly every restaurant makes some attempt to create po-boy sandwiches, Parkway Bakery defines the art form. Oysters are only offered on Mondays and Wednesdays... ...sadly... ...what an experience. If you don't go on what we will refer to as "oyster days" the debris (day'-bree in NOLAspeak) roast beef po-boys should be your go-to choice. My friends... More
