I'm going to try and be nice... first off we sat down and immediately got attitude from the waitress. I've been told NOLA has great southern hospitality and unfortunately this place gave it a bad wrap. After ordering some drinks that were mediocre at best,...More

Somebody had to do it - eat unknown Mexican food in the French Quarter. Besides, you can only eat French sounding food for so long - it was time for some Dos Equis and chips and salsa amigos! We got seated immediately and had great...More

Went with my family. We were the only ones at the restaurant which I found weird but apart from that the food was nice and it was a lot of food that we had to take some of it with us. The chips were amazing...More

In New Orleans for the week so ate at Country Flame the first night. We had quesadillas, but they weren't that good. The chips and salsa were good and the server was courteous so that was good. Maybe another dish would have been better. Another...More

Chips were cold. Soft and hard tacos were excellent. Cuban coffee good. Tiny tiny bathrooms. If you’re “large” it would be almost impossible to use them.

Everything was a bit under average (tacos and shrimps) and the waitress wasn't responsive when we complained that the shrimps were off.

When looking for alternatives to Cajun/Southern cuisine, we happened upon this intimate location in the Quarter. Food is great, service wonderful. We came here twice, and enjoyed a very good Thanksgiving meal here. Special compliments for Orra, hostess and waitress; she assisted us on both...More

I stopped in to pick up lunch at Country Flame and enjoyed their shredded beef tacos. Would like to return and request a recommendation from a server because the folks to the right and left of me seemed much more satisfied with what they ordered....More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
