Don't let the small taco salad fool you. It may appear tiny, but somehow when you dig into it - it grows to be a very filling meal. We liked this place so much, we ate there a second night. On that trip, I attempted to eat a beef burrito, but it was bigger than my head and I had... More

A nice place it was a good change of pace from the other southern food restaurants in the area. Good Latin food, the prices were decent. Nice smaller place, clean with decent service.

The food is awesome...but...don't have it delivered, they have yet to get any of my orders right! What is so hard about putting in all the condiments that come with the item that is ordered. They shouldn't describe the burrito with guac and sour creme if they aren't going to put it with the order! Its infuriating. Eat there so... More

The food is ok. People are nice. Away from the crowds. I wouldn't go back again. I had the seafood soup which had good seafood except the imitation krab.

The food was inexpensive, tasty and plentiful. This is a very nice place to grab a Mexican, Spanish, Latin American or Cuban meal. Service was excellent.

This is a great restaurant and we had a girl named Magnolia as our server. She was exceptional and a lot of fun and great service. The food was awesome and the drinks were also really good. Everyone had different things to eat and not one of the meals had anything wrong. Fried shrimp awesome, Shredded beef burrito outstanding, Highly... More

We stopped here on Halloween night for a bite. We had shrimp tacos and Hondurian enchiladas. Complimentary chips and salsa, but the salsa is more like a sauce so we ordered queso. I preferred the beef over the chicken enchilada. The toppings were unusual but tasty. They have Mexican, Cuban, and Spanish food.

This restaurant may be off the beaten path, but it's worth looking into. It's not but a block or two from the Marriott on Canal Street. They food is phenomenal and the prices are good. It's one of our favorite restaurants to eat at when we're in town.

We always look forward to our visit at this restaurant. We have been going for 18 years now and we have never been disappointed. The staff is great, restaurant is clean, and the food is incredible. Great for lunch & dinner. They serve Cuban & Mexican Food.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
