Super friendly staff. This place had the best oysters I had while in New Orleans! I believe we are there 3 out of 4 days just for that reason. It was never super crowded if you go a little early for dinner. My son loved...More

Oyster bars are everywhere in the French Quarter. Felix Oyster Bar tops them all. They seated us quickly. It's larger than it looks from outside. We ordered crab fingers, jambalaya and char grilled oysters. The flavor of the oysters was a tasty blend of grill...More

4.5 yelps for food, 2.5 to 3 yelps for service BEST FRIED SHRIMP /FISH I'VE EVER HAD. Seriously. Their shrimp is so large, luscious, such great texture and bite -- and perfectly cooked. The breading had the perfect amount of seasoning, and was so thin,...More

I went with friends to check out this new restaurant. The view is wonderful, but I was not impressed with the menu. The menu is very limited if you want to eat healthy. The food is mostly fried. The service was slow. We decided to...More

We had been across the street and enjoyed it but the lines can be a bit ridiculous. Some locals had said this place was better. We enjoyed it and got a wide variety of menu items. Great service and we will stop back next time...More

There are dozens of oyster bars in New Orleans, but Felix's is a must-go. Why wait in lines for hours to get into Acme Oyster House when you can be instantly seated at Felix's and served equally delicious food? It's a down-to-earth restaurant with great...More

We had heard good things about Felix's and decided to try their char grilled oysters. We could not decide, so we got the regular, the rockefeller and their special Iberville. We loved the regular char grilled ones so much we were there the next night...More

I saw a big queue outside this restaurant strolling through NOLA so I thought what the heck and joined it. Being a party of one I got seated pretty quick and sat on the bar. Had basically no idea what this place was but the...More

This is usually the first stop. Love the oysters and shrimp. The oyster Poboy is out standing. Love the bloody Mary's too. You can't go wrong at Felix's. Its wonderful and inexpensive!

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other

little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

The WWII museum is near the intersection of Camp and Pontchartrain Expressway. It is about 12 blocks from "Bourbon Street" area. It is not a bad walk.
