Nice fresh pastries, good coffee and not expensive. Bus down Magazine St on the way to Audubon Park.

Surly servers, terrific culinary aesthetics, petite portions, and a long line that does not affect the staff’s pace. This bakery epitomizes nearly every traditional French stereotype Americans harbor. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I suppose.

Still the best place for real French croissants and baguettes Prices want way up after the ownership change from real French guy to Americain owner. Quality of ingredients like butter and cream want down in my opinion Still a place to go

Looks are better than the actual taste - if you travel and have the chance to try really excellent pastries around the country, this is not in that caliber of pastry shop. It's merely okay and definitely not worth the calories.

Croissant were absolutely fabulous and Lemon Tart was great except crust was a little hard. Cappuccino was good. I would go back for pastries. Wish they would have had egg choices. The pastries were their specialty. Would go back on trolley instead of walking

A neighborhood coffee shop and French bakery combined - and the best of each! The croissants are outstanding, especially those with embedded ham and cheese. Order at the counter and pay, then cruise the room looking for a table; when your name is called, pick...More
