We have been meaning to visit here for a long time but since we retired we have no reason to go to the CBD. But today we did. This is without a doubt the best beef fajitas in New Orleans. There was enough for my...wife and I to share and with the cheese dip and desert, we were more than satisfied. This is a great place for a light business lunch or a casual dinner. I can find nothing to complain about.More

We ate here because of Aaron Sanchez. The bartender was really nice and was more then happy to help us. The oyster tacos were amazing! The Carne Asada and Carnitas tacos were good, but nothing special. The sauce on the albondigas taco was really good....I loved the tortillas, which I believe either make or break the taco. I didn't really like the quesadilla, tasted like burnt cheese to me. Being from the Los Angeles area I have eaten my fair share of tacos. Although these are not traditional tacos, I think it is worth the trip to eat here. When I am back in NOLA I will most definitely eat here again.More

Our waiter was excellent and seemed to be in a fantastic mood the whole time. Very helpful & very knowledgeable of the menu! Not to mention the food was delicious, the restaurant was laid back and gorgeous, and very fairly priced for the amount of...food!More

We were here on New Year's Eve and hit "Taco Tuesday" completely by accident. $2.00 tacos. They were all good. We tried at least one of each of the choices. Service was very good, too. In fact, we ate here in the afternoon and then...came back later in the evening and ate again! This is the fourth time I have been here and I have never been disappointed. By the way, the queso fundido is awesome!More

We returned for another meal at Johnny Sanchez and were not disappointed! The food and drinks were excellent! We really enjoyed the meatball and the shrimp taco. Also had chips and salsa, queso and the guacamole. (Best guacamole ever!). Service was great too!

I’ve been served a lot of terrible dishes in my many years dining in restaurants. But the arroz con pollo at this tourist trap is easily among the worst. It was nothing more than a heaping greasy glob of fried (yes!! Fried) rice plopped on...a dish with a couple of slivers of chicken mixed into the glop. I ate a few bites and became increasingly disgusted — to the point where I called over the manager and asked if he could at least provide me with some chicken. I was hungry and getting sicker and sicker as I tried to ingest the mess that was put before me. Johnny Sanchez may have gained some fame on television, but as far as I’m concerned, he has no business running a restaurant and serving this hideous looking — and tasting — stuff to people. He will never get my business again.More

Had the cauliflower tacos and they are hands down the best no meat tacos I’ve ever had!!! Our waitress was not very friendly or good we had to ask the hostess for refills since our waitress was busy talking to other staff members but the...hostess was very nice and didn’t mind helping us out.More

This was a nice spot to hit up after the Saints game. Met up with our other friends after we caught the game and enjoyed margaritas, guacamole, and flautas...it was all delicious! Cool vibe and friendly staff also, definitely check it out!

I rarely visit a place twice when I’m away from home, unless it’s really good. This place is good, especially their tacos. I’ve also enjoyed the Brussel sprouts appetizer and the black beans. Nice mix of flavor in the their recipes.

Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

No reservation is required but recommended. Most time there is no wait but just in case you may want to make one. The food was delicious. Enjoy!
