This is by far the best Italian pastry and gelato shop we have ever been to! Love, love, love this place! We stopped in for gelato and left with some pastries to take back to our hotel room. My only wish...that there was one where I call home!

Creamy, generous scoops of delicious ice cream. Italian cakes and desserts by the slice. Worth the wait in line. Polite, friendly service.

After a nice lunch my husband and I decided to have some desert. We went to Angelo Brocato to have an ice cream. Besides that, I order a piece of cream cheese. But I felt too much taste of margarine. I really did not enjoy the deserts there. But many people really like. Lots of family were there.

The last time I visited this place there was a big line waiting to get in. We waited and we were not disappointed. Excellent service, delicious ice cream and wonderful atmosphere. However, they need an extra bathroom to accommodate their patrons.

They don't have Sfogliatella every day or St. Joseph Chocolate Almond Ice Cream all year 'round, but when they do, be sure to get it because it's excellent! Here in New Orleans, it's probably the only place to find Italian Sfogliatella pastries! The cappuccino and Iced Lattes in the summer are great too! Angelo Brocato has been around a long... More

Went with a few friends after dinner. It's a New Orleans tradition. Everything is good. Sicilian family recipes. Gelato just like in Italy and cannoli is amazing. Atmosphere is like being in a small family run dessert and gelato shop in Italy.

A New Orleans favorite for locals and tourists. Worth the street car ride from downtown. Authentic Italian gelato, cannoli's (made to order), and all Italian sweets you can imagine. The ricotta cheesecake is heavenly (save room for it!!). Go to Mandina's (two blocks away) for lunch or dinner, then dessert here! This is our standard on most every visit to... More

Incredible baked goods and gelato. I recommend the straciatella (some sort of shaved chocolate bits or something), a pine nut macaroon, and a vanilla cannoli.
