where to start?... friendly staff even on the busiest of days (New year's day), easy to pre book to avoid any waiting time, amazing food and good value for money, helpful when my friend was injured and could not ski but still made sure that...he can get onto the mountain to join the group for lunch, great wine list, cool atmosphere both on sunny and grey days. Arrived at this busy place after hearing mostly good things. Looked around for a table in a served area and within seconds a waiter spotted us. He directed us to follow a colleague. As we were doing so a party pushed in front of us....The waiter checked it was them the colleague had directed and they lied and said yes. As he turned round he saw us and I told him. More apologetic he could not have been. Thing is, they (6 of them) then we’re squashed round a tiny tiny table, whereas two of us had a huge table!! I gave them my finest smug smile. Served by Andreas all lunch. He was attentive, helpful, informative and it was a pleasure to be looked after by him. Decent Grüner to drink, very good schnitzel and spaghetti to eat and then germknödel for pud. Everything enjoyed. And remembering you are 2000m up a mountain I thought for served food it was excellent value. People such as Nick E need to understand and realise these places are a business. Why should you get your water for free? It’s not free to them. And lagle L, I don’t blame these places for charging for reservations. The number of numpties who don’t turn up for reservations and inevitably costs these places money is ridiculous. The restaurant gives you something in return in acknowledgement of the fact that you have paid up front. Whilst you are all having a moan, look around, think of the investment, the hassle, and having to put up with rude tourists, I think the vast majority of these restaurants need a medal for putting up with the moaning people you all paint yourselves to be! Once again, Andreas thank you for your service. We will come back.More

I tried to book in advance and was asked for a credit card payment to do so - €3 per person. I thought this was peculiar but they told me I’d get an amuse bouche in return. They then told me that the only time...they took bookings for was 11:30 or 2pm. So basically too early or too late. As we were a large group we went for it anyway. When we turned up, it took ages to get any service and I went to the bar to get a jug of water. There was an older lady with grey hair who was abrupt and obnoxious with me. I asked for a jug of water and she said ‘you want water, just water!?’ Then got me a small glass and banged it down. ‘I’m really sorry’ I said, ‘could I possibly have a jug of water and another glass’. That’s when she really kicked off ‘water is money, it’s money. MONEY.’ Then started banging the till. ‘It’s €4.30 for a big glass.’ It wasn’t. I went back to the table and we eventually ordered two jugs of water which were not included on the bill. I don’t know why she was being so obnoxious. Anyway, we eventually ate and there were no burgers left because it was after the main lunch sitting. The other food was fine.More
We stopped for lunch during a day of skiing. The restaurant is divided into an area of self service, and the area with a waiter service. We sat in the self service area, and ate excellent goulash soup and spaghetti in a Bolognese sauce that...was also very tasty. More
We waited in line w/ 4 kids for an hour, and were accused to be IMPATIENT. Communication between the staff was nonexistent. Music was too loud. No toilet paper. We couldn't eat in such a terrible environment.More

What an ultra cool place! Live music, cosy chairs & benches with thick fur, great drinks and traditional, rustic Austrian food. Enjoy the sun in a 180o panorama view over the ski slopes. You go for the atmosphere and the view ... relax, enjoy and...don't think about waiting a few minutes for service. It's not gourmet ... and then again, who needs that on a ski slope?More
Terrible service. Ultra long waiting altough there were only 2 people in line before us. Small portions, the spaghetti was hardly large enough for a child. Outside music makes you run away asap. Only cash payment possible.

Great food lovely drinks wonderful views before some great wide runs. Staff are friendly and the germknodle (excuse spelling!) is to die for.

Indoors: log fires, comfy seating, high quality food, good service. There is also a self service section but the nicer part is table service. Outdoors: cracking terrace and view, catches a lot of sun.

The view cannot be beaten and the food is top notch with excellent service. Not the cheapest eat on the mountain by all means but you really do get what you pay for.
This place is wonderful. A little more expensive than others but well worth it. It was near Michelin star quality. If you reserve a table with a small deposit you receive a nice little appetiser. We went twice it was so good. Can highly recommend...the linguine, burger and fillet steak! Nice fine wines especially if you have a few thousand euros to spare, although some very reasonably priced ones too. Can’t wait to go again. Highly recommended.More

The view is great and also Zillertal draft beer served there has a great taste. We find there some blaket to use if the time is colder. We’ll come back for the view, beer and for the ski pist
Cannot fault this place stopped a few times for mid morning drinks and we visited on our last day for lunch. Food and service spot on can't wait to go back. The views are amazing.

Very friendly staff and high quality food and drinks. It's priced a little higher than the other places on the slopes but it okay since the quality is as high as it is. Coming back another time
