My husband and I wanted to try the acai bowls we keep hearing about in Hawaii. We showed up on Sunday morning (march 26) and the em[employee setting up the umbrellas let us know the cafe opens at 9. We were 8:50am so had no problem waiting. The cafe didn't open until after 9:30am. We were a bit frustrated as... More

Hands down the best Acai I had in Kona! Or everywhere on the Big Island but then I didn't have it in that many other places so that might not be fair... but still, if you're in Kona and want Acai: that's the place! It's small but got a few chairs with a nice view.

We stop here often when we are in Kona but have never taken the time to review the place. It is tiny but has a great selection of smoothies and fruit bowls. Everything tastes very fresh and the food provides a great snack on a hot day. If you are looking for this sort of thing, I would definitely stop... More

Great way to start your morning! Fuel up with great grains and berries! Awesome view to boot! Sometimes there is a line but worth the wait.

I love acai bowls but something just seems a little better about it when it's in Hawaii! An acai bowl back home in NY costs about $6.75, but here the smaller bowl was $11. But, you're in Hawaii, so you know the costs are up anyway. I got "The Islander" which was so delicious - acai, strawberries, bananas, coconut, honey... More

We tried this for breakfast based on review, as it was right beside our hotel. I'd never had an acai bowl, but my wife make fruit smoothies all the time. The bowls were so refreshing and tasty, and plenty to fuel you up for breakfast.
