The Kona Inn is the perfect place for a quick bite to eat or a lovely dinner to finish off your evening. But the BEST time to be there is to watch the sunset!!! This iconic restaurant is right in the heart of the main drag in Kona, and deserves all the accolades it receives from both locals and visitors!... More

This is a fairly casual eatery with a lovely setting right on the water. The menu offered a lot of choices and the prices were fair (but a bit on the high side). We had fish-n-chips, which were probably the best we've ever had. Coming from WA State as we do, that's saying something! We also had mud pie. It... More

The seating isn't real close to the water but it's still a great view and a nice relaxed atmosphere. The food wasn't bad but was not memorable. Decent wine selection. Friendly and efficient service.

If you go to The Kona Inn and you like a good Mi Thai, you have found the right place!!! The drink is served in a "bucket" glass and strong! Not like other Mi Thai's that actually taste like "Hawaiian punch" Food is always good if a bit pricey. Happy hour is 2 to 5. Aloha!

We love to come here for special dinners and for our final goodbye dinner. The food and desserts are delicious and well prepared. The prices are expensive but worth it. The Ono, Lobster, seafood kabobs were all very good. Service was very good and we enjoyed our server Natalie. If you are looking for something more reasonable they offer a... More

This is a lovely restaurant, but tbe food is just mediocre and overpriced. I fed my fish to the cats on the lawn!

go for a drink for the view but if you eat here expect a fairly mediocre experience at top of the range prices. for example, my main course - seafood skewer $45 turned out to be 2 prawns, 2 scallops, 2 bits of fish and some green pepper, ut came without flair or charm with a side order of rice... The food is of poor quality, and insanely priced for what you get. We ordered Mia tais, and they were pure rum (had to ask for pineapple juice to cut them). Service wasn't great either. Won't ever go back.

Had cocktails at sunset here. The Mai tai was so strong I had to order extra juice. The views are amazing! They have award winning fish hanging on the walls at the entrance. A cool historic old place right in the water.
