I always take my out of town guests here. It's an one of a kind place. You can get a feel how Chinatown was likes years ago. Time stops here.

Very unique coffee house. I had Latte Soya (16oz) for 4.6, it is consider cheap compare to other coffee joints. The coffee house was quiet as not many customers were there. I appreciate the service I received from the barista and the quiet atmosphere I got. I got the entire place for myself for a while; before a group of... More

We received a warm welcome from the woman working, who suggested types of teas and the best treats for us. She made us flavored iced teas and offered to sweeten them for us. I had a delicious, moist and flavorful pineapple-coconut muffin and my husband enjoyed his apple pastry. We especially appreciated the display of items left behind when the... More

Check out my Panama hotel review. The Tea and Coffee house was fabulous. My daughter and I stayed upstairs.

I expected to be impressed by the stories kept alive by the careful and respectful hotel owner. Truly awesome to have a glimpse into this era. But I also found the Tea Room a very chill place with great tea. The service was impeccable and the barista even offered to take pics of our group for us. He also had... More

I don't know how well publicized this place is, but if you are interested in the history this is a place to see. And the tea was very good. This hotel had been owned by a Japanese family before WWII. At the time of the internment, neighbors left their belongings in the basement. Some of these along with historic photos... More

A great little spot in the International District for a tea, coffee, or maybe even a spiked coffee! My wife and I like to stop by and have a latte with a little rum and Bailey's Irish Creme. It's a historic building and the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing.

I love the fact that not only can you go there, sit down and treat yourself with great delicious Japanese sweet treats with a cup or pot of tea but you can learn about Seattle's history of Japanese Americans as well. This quiet and peaceful venue is especially great for you to go and escape from our hurried and stressful world.
