This place delivers amazing sushi and rolls. I recommend the omakase be a useful it's such a delight from variety to price. The service maybe i was at the bar but was not great. Slow to serve and forgetful. Again the food is all worth it.

I was here with some friends for happy hour. We first had a drink at the bar and then moved to the very back behind the beautiful garden. Service was great. The Happy Hour menu was great. We will be back again!

A late Saturday night dinner for four on Capital Hill? We braved the parking challenges to make 8:30p reservations last night and found it well worth the effort and time. Besides top-notch sushi (and our standards are fairly high), we enjoyed excellent dishes of short ribs, king crab and calamari. The place was packed and noisy with chatter but the... More

Not being a sushi fan, I was skeptical about visiting Momiji last night. I was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of other dishes to choose from. The food was delicious and the presentation beautiful. Both the sushi lovers and I were pleased with our meals.

The Happy Hour prices and food are great!!! We ordered several rolls and they were very good. We went early with no reservations and I'm glad we did. If you want to go, make reservations!

The best restaurant for a late night out in Capitol Hill. A group of friends were debating where to go at 12:00 AM and we decided to give it a try to sushi at Momiji. Their rolls are really good and pretty creative, great combination of flavors. We also tried some gyozas and the octopus carpaccio. All excellent and incredible... More

I went for the happy hour menu with friends. The food was fine, nothing outstanding. The server seemed a bit hostile that we were ordering only the "cheap" stuff. She wasn't at all attentive to our table (my companion spilled some soy sauce (very obvious spill) and despite the server coming by several times, she never offered to wipe it... More

We ordered basically the entire HH food menu and it was all very good! The drinks are creative and fun as well. The atmosphere is great, the interior garden makes the experience.

The interior of this restaurant is nicely laid out, with an indoor atrium that breaks up the space. So far, so good. The food was so-so. Tempura Vegetables were greasy and bland. A Miso soup with clams was served warm, not hot. Short ribs of beef were nicely seasoned. Service was somewhat less than friendly but efficient. As competitive as... More
