You'll probably need a reservation. It's a small romantic sushi place, with very fun, upscale, high quality sushi. I love this place!

At the end of a very special trip to the PNW, we had one last night in Seattle. Our daughter wanted us to experience something special via a sushi restaurant in West Seattle. "Yes, dear I'm sure it will be lovely"...we've been to Nakazawa in NY, (Jiro's apprentice) so we are not expecting much. We arrive and are immediately kicked... More

My best friend and I decided to meet up in west Seattle, both of us from out of town. I had read about the sushi chefs at Mashiko and was intrigued by them, their philosophy and unapologetic attitude about following their truth. We sat at the bar and were treated to a culinary experience. The chef/ owner Hajime, selected what... More

Sushi done well, with imagination. The chef is a guide, not a dictator and the results are amazing. Small, which adds to the atmosphere, but makes reservations a good idea.

I ate the chicken yakitori and it came on 3 small skewers with some tasteless cabbage and some red peppers and the chicken tasted really good but nothing special with what was on the plate! My friend ordered a California roll which was fresh but for $10 US it was overpriced and for the price tasted like any other California... More

My boyfriend and I are both in the food industry and we have eaten at many amazing places around the country. Mashiko is far and away the best place we have ever eaten. If you can, get the market omakase menu; course upon course of insane food. Pair it with the sakes; you won't be disappointed. We had Garrett as... More

The place is small, I'd suggest reservations but give a try if your in the area. The sushi is just great. There are other things on the menu and they are good but it's all about the seafood. Wait staff are very good and very knowledge about all the item on the menu so you can order with confidence. Great... More

Mashiko is the West Seattle restaurant we frequent the most. Great for date nights and amazing for out of town guests! The food is amazing and the service is always above and beyond. Chris was our server last week and he really was so kind. We adore Mashiko! Already looking forward to our next visit.
