I always go back to Assaggio Restorante when I visit downtown Seattle. It never fails to impress me. The service is great, the food excellent and the atmosphere fun and and energetic. It's a Seattle classic.

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Assaggio last night! Three of us loved our pasta dishes (the sampler is a fun option) and the eggplant parm was amazing! Prompt and attentive service, a nice wine selection, and a comfortable dining room make...More

The food here is excellent, thoroughly recommended. I had the pasta taster, so chose 3 of the pasta dishes and had a small portion of each. My wife had the risotto with seafood and squid ink. Both were delicious. We had tried some of the...More

We enjoyed our anniversary dinner here before heading off to a Jimmy Buffett concert. I had the osso bucco... tender and succulent, a definite must have. Great downtown location. Dining options inside or out. Excellent service.

We couldn’t get into our first choice so we decided on Assaggio. It wasn’t late and after choosing our starter we were told it was sold out. After choosing mains we selected a wine from the wine list. It wasn’t available, next choice also not...More

If the children are well behaved, this restaurant would be very appropriate for a birthday celebration. Tables are close, but it is both loud and casual. Kids would enjoy the excellent Italian food.
