The staff are rude and wears dirty clothing. The fish are greasy and burnt. I ordered a 3 pieces of cod and got a greasy fries and 3 pieces of burned 2 inches long code fish. Tourist trap definitely

Go elsewhere...I was really excited to try this place after reading great reviews. We ordered the fried halibut, which came with fries, another order of fries, and a shrimp cocktail. The shrimp cocktail was made with mushy, fishy tasting salad shrimp and was so unpleasing. We each tried 1 shrimp and could not eat any more. The fries ALL tasted... More

We were actually looking for Pike Place Chowder, but came across Jack's first and thought the prices were reasonable so we placed our order - 2 bowls of chowder and an order of garlic fries. Our chowder came piping hot since it was sitting in a big pot and was pretty yummy and chock full of seafood. Sadly, the fries,... More

No waiters! You order from a pleasant guy, wait for your order to be given to you then try to find a seat at a stainless steel counter. (They could use more seating.) The fried cod we had was good (a bit over cooked) and plenty of freshly cut fries (stored in large plastic containers in water). They had a... More

Lots of people lined up ordering, I figured it must be good. Not much seating and the seating that is available is not particularly nice. I got a number of raw oysters that came with cocktail sauce. A little hard to juggle and eat while standing up. Much of the salty oyster juice sloshed out, the thing I love most... More

Had the traditional fish and chips with tarter sauce. It was hot, flaky, juicy and delicious fish and the tarter sauce was tasty too! Those around me were enjoying fresh oysters and crab. Grab a stool, sit in this market, and enjoy some of the freshest fish and chips you can have in the area. Enjoy!

So many choices in the market to eat at. Of course so many seafood choices. This causal spot is one of the better values I have found, you will not be paying for fancy table service or hardly any table. What you will get is reasonable priced seafood such as fried fish (scallops, oysters ect) and chips. Very good fries... More

I wish I could give this place 5 stars but there are a few things holding me back. I love chowder and I'm pretty picky about it. Theirs is good but it was just a bit over the top with the seasoning to us. We don't like bland but if you are into pepper, pepper, pepper you will love this.... More

I started with the clam chowder (creamy). The soup had a velvety taste nice portion. I had fried oysters with french fries. The oyster did not have a lot of breading so you could actually taste the oyster. My husband had the salmon platter. The salmon was cooked nicely and a very fresh taste. Not bad for 23.00.

This is a popular place in Pike Place Market. Their menu of fried seafood looks good and the service is friendly. I hate to say it but the fish portion of my fish and chips was disappointing and bland. The fish was fresh but had little flavor. The breading was crunchy but lacked flavor too. It was the first fried... More
