ignore the fact that the restaurant is located in a mall, it is so big, that you immediately forget that. the fresh bread along side a plate of Olive oil and balsamic vinegar were a great start. I took the Cparese salad as a starter - the tomatoes were in the right temperature, the cheese was fresh and soft, the... More

Our drinks were delivered by someone else then had to finally had to flag down another server after waiting @ 25 minutes. The other server turned in our order. Food was good but not great. I expected more from a... More

Four of us met for dinner prior to a concert at Benaroya and we had an excellent dinner and evening. Firstly, our server, Anjuli, was spectacular and couldn't have been more helpful. We ordered from the Umbria menu that was being highlighted that night and our choices of Raviolo, Gnocchi, Risotto and Duck were fantastically prepared and seasoned to perfection.... More

We haven't been to Il Fornaio for some time and we wandered in on the restaurant's celebration of Carnival a la Venice...the staff were having a very good time but it did nothing for the guests. As always the bread and wine were very good, our starter of fried calamari was excellent but the pasta courses disappointed somewhat. In particular... More

the wife had an excellent cioppino soup and i had the chicken which had a good sauce for running the potatoes around in. the bruschetta wasn't my favorite. we ate too much of the bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar (old school but still good).

This is the place we chose for a going away lunch. I was pleased when he chose it as I had not been here in years. I am happy to say that the experience was on par with my previous ones. The food was amazing and the restaurant was immaculately clean. The fresh warm bread with oil/vinegar was a welcome... More

My wife and I stumbled on this restaurant while killing time for an event at the Paramount theater. Although we only had soup and a glass of wine, they were very gracious. The place is very nice and the wait staff was very friendly. We had a seat at the downstairs bar so we could watch the cook at work.... More

We stopped into Pacific Place for an early dinner before the play at the 5th Avenue. We had a little problem when they were out of our usual requested whiskey, but had good alternatives. We just had pasta for dinner which was very good. My wife had cannelloni and I had linguini. A very attractive location and room.

Well done Italian food, great value. Service is fast and very attentive, they made me feel very welcome. I loved the Linguine Mare Chiaro, well spiced and gorgeous presentation. Everyone around looks very happy to work here, saw a lot of smile.

I had the clam linguine this time. So many great choices of Italian food to choose from. The spumoni for dessert was outstanding! This is one of my favorite places to eat when visiting downtown Seattle
