I had high hopes that Shiros was going to be a really great sushi place. I actually found it to be mediocre. The sushi is somewhat overpriced, and I tried several other items on the menu including broiled black cod. It was all very good but not great. The sushi is above-grade from any run-of-the-mill sushi restaurant (and I've eaten... More

I always to to Shiro's when travelling to Seattle. I took 3 business associates. This is the best sushi that I know of in Seattle. I worked in Japan before and the quality matches good places in Tokyo. I prefer sashimi and it was really fresh. I highly recommend it but you'll need a reservation. Favorites: Sockeye salmon, chu toro,... More

I am no Sushi expert, but I have eaten at one of the stalls outside of the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo so I like to think I have some credibility. Honestly, this place rivals that experience. We elected for the Sushi Omakase which is done in courses. From beginning to end the progression of fish made complete sense to... More

That´s the place to go in Seattle for having delicious Sushi in a very nice, Japan-like atmosphere. Usually I go there with the team and/or friends. Always good service, super fresh fish and sushi.

I had dinner here for the second time and it was better than the first time service-wise. The sushi and sashimi was first rate - prices in line with the quality.

Whenever in Seattle this is a stop for my partner and me for sushi. Make a reservation or get their 30 minutes before opening and see if you can sit at the counter, the best place to eat sushi and watch the "action." We have been eating here for years. Bear in mind tht the original owner of this restaurant,... More

A self-proclaimed sushi snob, I have been to the "best of the best" for sushi, many of which attempt to lay claim to the superiority of their sushi. I've had many outstanding sushi experiences, but I have to say, Shiro's was number one. We ordered the tasting selection or Omakase and one dish after another kept outdoing the other. The... More

Go ahead and choose the Omakase option here. The chef's choices will not disappoint. The faves of the night were the Albacore belly, the Salmon with lemon salt, clam miso and seaweed salad. There was not a thing that we tasted that was not exceptional. This place is worth a trip to Seattle!
