I had dinner here for the second time and it was better than the first time service-wise. The sushi and sashimi was first rate - prices in line with the quality.

Whenever in Seattle this is a stop for my partner and me for sushi. Make a reservation or get their 30 minutes before opening and see if you can sit at the counter, the best place to eat sushi and watch the "action." We have been eating here for years. Bear in mind tht the original owner of this restaurant,... More

A self-proclaimed sushi snob, I have been to the "best of the best" for sushi, many of which attempt to lay claim to the superiority of their sushi. I've had many outstanding sushi experiences, but I have to say, Shiro's was number one. We ordered the tasting selection or Omakase and one dish after another kept outdoing the other. The... More

Go ahead and choose the Omakase option here. The chef's choices will not disappoint. The faves of the night were the Albacore belly, the Salmon with lemon salt, clam miso and seaweed salad. There was not a thing that we tasted that was not exceptional. This place is worth a trip to Seattle!

Overall would it here over and over. The fish quality is superb and that's what makes the sushi so amazing (rice isn't too shabby as well). I would rate this as one of the top Sushi I ate (Disclaimer : never been to Japan). The place itself looks nice, but I guess for the price it could use some more... More

I took my husband here for his birthday. Very friendly staff. All sushi was fresh and well prepared. Reservations are highly recommended. The sushi bar is on a first come/first served based. The sushi chefs talked amiably with those sitting at the bar. Will definitely return and ask for the Omakase (traditional Japanese chef selection sushi).

Shiro's has no doubt the best sushi in the game. Innovative, fresh beyond belief, and fun! Sit at the bar, order omakase, sit back, enjoy the party in the your mouth, and yummies in your bellies. 18 pieces later, miso cod, smoked tuna, sake, we were full and satisfied yet begging our stomachs to fit just one more piece. I... More

The only better sushi I've had have been on my numerous trips to Tokyo. Shiros's has the usual popular standards, but also unusual and delectable options--butter fish, needle fish, etc. (we missed out on the barracuda unfortunately) The portions are decent, and well presented. Service was friendly, and helpful. This is more expensive than other places, but it's cheaper than... More

Managed to snag a seat at the sushi bar late on a weeknight at this justly renowned sushi restaurant in Seattle. I went with the omakase. The sushi chef gave me a dazzling array of fish, several rarely found outside the Pacific. The fish literally melts in your mouth.
