Visited here at 3pm on a Saturday for a late lunch and could only order off of a limited bar menu. So, we ordered the crab soup and the serving size was a very small cup for a fairly spendy amount. Same for a burger with fries. Food was good but just crazy small portion for the price so we... More

I have dined here a few times. I like the atmosphere. I think this place does better in the bar and for breakfast than for dinner. Saturday afternoon happy hour was fun. Apps were good. Dinner was unspectacular.

If you're looking for tasty seafood, which is also located reasonably off the beaten path and in an interesting neighborhood, then Coastal Kitchen is for you. My wife and I recently ate there. The food is quite good. We had their clam chowder, which is very good, That was following by a seafood entree of mussels, clams, and with sausage... More

Great breakfast with good cappuccino. They have great scramble combinations and breakfast traditionals. For the best seat, go during the week.

Salad was way too large for one meal and thus overpriced. All the ingredients were fresh but the dish was so overfilled it was impossible to mix them properly.

Slightly damp smell was a bit distracting. Service was okay, but food was average and somewhat bland.

The food was mediocre. However, the service was fast, friendly and good. I had muscles and frites. The muscles were fine, big Taylor Shellfish muscles, but the fries were uninspired.

Arrive early if you want to avoid the wait. The menu rotates and always provides new dishes to try as well as the core that are great standards. personal favorites: El Hefe. Biscuits and gravy. Scramble with spinach and goat cheese. Tried the special today - great grits. But the dish was lacking. This is a rarity. Husband ordered corned... More

Love this place! Coastal Kitchen has one of the best brunches in Seattle with hearty food and amazing Bloody Marys (Mimosas are always good, too). This is a great place for families with kids as the place is on the loud side, kids won't disrupt anyone's conversations. Wait staff is friendly and very accommodating. Show up Early as this place... If Seattle is supposedly "known" for it's seafood, how could this place have been so bad. Oyster shooters had a funky odor and small shell chips. Cuban Pete's Shipwreck (version of Paella) had seafood cooked so long that it was rubbery. My wife had their Alaska Cod and Chips which was so greasy that when pierced with a fork oil... More
