My husband and I enjoyed dinner here in the late evening. I would recommend on a weekend making reservations through open table - the place was pretty packed when we got there! Food was delicious and service was quick. Would recommend if you're looking for somewhere to unwind after exploring Seattle all day!

After a chilly boat ride around Lake Union we stopped in here at the suggestion of our Seattle friend. We were close to the fireplace and the views were awesome. I had the crab chowder in a breadbowl. SO good! Others got bowls of clam chowder. The bread basket was refilled several times because it's SO good. Our server was... More

We were lucky to grab seats at the bar at lunch without a reservation. We shared the blueberry salmon and the soup sampler. Both dishes were excellent. The soup was perfect for the classic drizzle-y, cloudy, cool Seattle day. The service was excellent. It was pricey for lunch. The two dishes, one craft beer, and tip was $75.

We went to Duke's convinced, that they had the Best Chowder we could have had in Seattle. That was certainly true! The clam chowder was fantastic. But they fell short an their Halibut dinner entre. It was over cooked in the broiler and consequently it was a bit tough. Another annoyance in his restaurant was the "tightness" in the room.... More

We walked over from our motel on a rainy Sunday evening. We were seated next to the fireplace and had a great view of the lake and Space Needle. I need gluten free options and had plenty of choices. I had the salmon and my husband had the fish and chips. Both were outstanding! We shared a GF carrot cake... More

I'm not a seafood fan but when traveling for business, you go with the group. Duke's seated us quickly and dealt with all the group's little quirky asks without any issues. Good value for price, everything tasted great, and wait staff was spot on.

I was attending meetings at Fred Hutch last week and went to lunch here. The service was excellent and food exceptional. The North by Northwest chowder was recommended and it was terrific! Definitely come back.

Duke's on Fairview doesn't seem to be the normal place for a tourist to go for lunch, unless you're at the museum across the way or the hotel across the street, but if you can get there go there. (Warning it's not very visible from the road, you're going to need to park and walk before you see it.) We... More
