In the heart of Ballard is the gem, Jai Thai I've been there many times, and everything I've ever tried, or shared, has been excellent. I used to live in Thailand, and I'm picky about Thai restaurants. These are real authentic Thai people, serving fantastic food. I'll be there next week!

pad see ew/phat si io?? who knows, but it rocks. nothing is bad here. Service is spot on, but at times, waiter disappears and you are left looking around. Spend some time and enjoy a nice decently priced meal.

Drinks /service was hard to get although they're not that busy. Today's special Crab Claw Rice was bland and supposed to be a 2 of 4 on the heat scale. The crab was miniscule at best. I couldn't tell if it was hot at all nor on the chicken meal Cashew Chicken was nothing special. On

I had the Massaman Curry, my favorite Thai dish. It was VERY good. My rice, however, was a hard lump. I had to chop it up and smash it to get all the curry goodness into it as I ate. My husband had the Yellow Curry and his was very good. He had the brown rice and it was cooked... More

Service was very fast, food was delicious! We had a wide sample of four different entrees, Pad Thai, Ginger Chicken, Yellow Curry and a seafood dish...all of them were very good! We sat in the window and enjoyed watching people wander by in the rain. Would probably become a regular here if we lived nearby!

It's been a while since I visited Jai Thai. I don't remember anything particularly great or not great about it. It was decent Thai food. And they do pretty well with their vegan fare. I would eat there again.

Best Thai, Ever. I always eat here when I visit Seattle. Order the Drunken Noodle for sure. Curry is delicious, Cashew chicken, deep fried whole tilapia: all so good.

3 of us ate there on a Friday night, no reservation, food was great. All of us commented on the tasty food. If I lived in the area I would return!

We had to ask to be moved, as the first table where we were placed would have meant we were right where people needed to pass. Food was okay, but even the second seating option was noisy and high traffic.

Good food and good service. I love going this time of year and having the yellow curry with chicken. It's right in the heart of Freemont. Which means you might have to spend a little extra time finding a parking space.

Thank Alec D
