We were first going to this place for the reviews, but we walked past it before going and it definitely looked sketchy from the outside, but inside it's huge and nice! I'm from BC so I'm used to a lot of good sushi places but...More

On our first trip to Seattle we were told about Umi. We had asked around town and the common thread was going to Umi. Umi is a very busy place so I recommend getting a reservation but if you want to pop in they have...More

The fish was fresh, at least I think so. I had a bad stomach problem immediately afterwards. I had the special chirashi dish on the 'fresh' list and it did not meet the description at all - for one, the egg was the tomago, which...More

Really great atmosphere - busy and full of chatter. The hostess/waiters were all very friendly and attentive. I would recommend the speciality rolls as they were spectacular - looked and tasted great. The food came quickly as well.

It is a Zagat rated Japanese restaurant with a few authentic touches. A group of us made a reservation for 5 PM, and we were seated in the ‘tatami’ room. The place is elegant, spacious, with good ambiance. The food and the service was fast,...More
