My fiance and I visited Crush when we were in Anchorage last month after hearing such great things. We ended up going back two more times during our stay. The elk tenderloin over sinfully smooth mashed potatoes was amazing. My fiance still raves about the...More

We went twice the week of July 4th- the first for dinner and second just for desert. Our server was very knowledgeable about wine, and provided prompt, efficient service. We tried several small plates, entrees and desserts and all were very good. They have a...More

My husband & I visited Crush after our day long walking tour of Anchorage. We felt a little underdressed, this bistro seems to be frequented by the local professional crowd. The atmosphere was a mix of rustic and urban decor and the seating was a...More

We had a group of 7 last week and had a wonderful time. The wine, food and service was fantastic! The majority of us had the special of the day (salmon with coconut rice and steamed vegetables, perfect). I would not recommend the hummus as...More

If you want massive portions of pub foods then don't come here. However, if you seek a fun atmosphere with great food, nice wines, reasonable prices, and attentive service then look no further. My meatloaf dish was very good and paired wonderfully with a nice...More

Exquisite, carefully prepared and presented gourmet quality food. I have eaten at other fine restaurants in Anchorage but this is my new favorite hidden gem. Our meals were fresh and artfully prepared - a delightful experience of sight and taste. The prices are extraordinarily reasonable....More

I showed up solo and sat at the wine bar - I first notice how cozy and relaxed it was - the atmosphere was great. The wait staff (the girl at the bar) was superb - she was genuinely friendly, and was very informative on...More

Crush has a tasting menu which gives you a chance to taste more than one wine for a reasonable price. The wait staff comes to your table and discusses the wines with you and answers questions. The food selection while somewhat limited was good and...More

Description
Crush owners Robert de Lucia, Scott Anaya & Chad Culley created Crush in order to share their love of wine, food and conversation with Anchorage. Their vision was to give Anchorage a place where people can experiment with a variety of wines, drop by for a casual meal or sit down to a $1000 vintage bottle. In 2010 they expanded the vision by introducing their retail wine shop, Cellar, the bottle shop at Crush. The store occupies the loft directly above Crush and features over 400 wines as well as beer, spirits, cheese & wine related gifts. The shop is also home to Cellar Wine Club. Sharing wine is about the conversation; the richness of each glass reminds us of travel, meals and family. Wine should not have any mystique. It should be accessible to everyone so that we all can enjoy it. Rob, Scott & Chad invite you to come down to Crush and spark a conversation with them about the wines that fuel their passion and keep the sparkle in their eyes.
