I wanted to get out and try somewhere new for an after work place to meet friends and get a bite to eat with a glass of wine. The location was intriguing because it is inside the entrance to the Museum. Unfortunately, the service was very poor. We left after finishing a glass of wine, having never received our meal.

We visited the museum, expecting to spend a couple of hours there, but the Imaginarium is simply brilliant for kids and we ended up spending the day here and had lunch at the museum room restaurant. Good, fairly priced kids menu, lovely atmosphere and good service.

It was not busy when we visited but the service was less than I expected. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful for chatting with friends.

I like to stop by the Muse for the great food and friendly service. Try the avocado burger with brie. The happy hour appetizers are delicious too. Live music on Fridays and a fun beer flight special with an appetizer.

After a pleasant visit to the Museum we had a very pleasant lunch at this Restaurant. Service was prompt and the meals were delicious. The generous portions left us with not much room for dessert but we managed to share a free one by using the coupon in the Anchorage City Trolly Tours’ complimentary coupon booklet.

Muse is a lovely wine bar/restaurant where you can rest your feet after taking in the collection at the Anchorage Museum. Sitting by the window gets you some light too which was much appreciated. The food was well prepared and beautifully plated. I had the salmon burger (messy to eat) which came with fennel slaw or fries. The slaw was... More

A nice hot lamb and sprout brothy soup hit the spot on a chilly rainy Anchorage day. Servers all very pleasant. Companion lady diners from Tokyo enjoyed their light chowder lunch as well. Join the Museum and enjoy Muse often!

We enjoy the setting at Muse and like to meet friends for lunch, and then wander through the museum. The food used to be excellent, but our last visit was quite disappointing. The menu used to be innovative while still having some Alaska flavor. We like spicy food but the creole seafood linguine was hot and gloppy. Any flavor it... More

Two young staff clearly unsupervised with a couldn't care less attitude to service . Seated , water and then nothing. Attention paid to two other table that sat after us and when complained not the slightest attempt at service recovery . Probably over their jobs and need to move on. Can't speak about the food as we left with staff... More

Very modern setting (in the Anchorage Museum) for this excellent wine bar and restaurant. Tasty, well served food, (salads, burgers and more). Relaxed setting with great views of the gardens. Super place for lunch or dinner.
