We got multiple recommendations from friends who have either visited or lived in the Anchorage area and they all said to hit Glacier Brewhouse for a good dinner...definitely didn't disappoint! We started with the smoked salmon dip which was delicious. Then, since halibut was their feature fresh fish, and we don't really get halibut (especially this fresh) back home in... More

Upscale dining and lovely atmosphere. Menu a bit pricey, but food was delicious and beers enjoyable. Great waitstaff too!

Sat at the bar in this hopping brewery/restaurant. Ordered the seared ahi tuna and unfortunately it was left under the heat lamp too long and came out dry and overdone. The waitress noticed immediately and ordered a replacement dish. Services were excellent despite being busy. My husband ate the catch of my the day and it was very good. Beer... More

I expected a small local venue, it is a large facility which made the wait time very, very short on Easter Sunday. The food was excellent but a little over priced. I had the halibut entree, $28 on the lunch menu. I recommend the beer cheese soup. The dinner had the same meal for $6-7 more, may be a larger... More

This place does not have your typical brewhouse fare. The food was delicious (save room for the best bread pudding you have ever eaten) and the service was friendly and knowledgeable. Even though it was packed, we never waited long for service which was very nice.

This place was certainly the place to be in town. It was packed, noisy and everyone seemed to be having a fantastic time. However, I got a flight of beer, and they were OK at best. The stout was the best one of the bunch, but the others were just nothing to write home about. 4 stars though because of... More

Had my first ever reindeer / chorizo burger - spicy but delicious. We tried the beer brewed on-site, decent porter. My compatriots enjoyed their roast chicken and salad choices.

We sat in the bar because there was an hour and fifteen minute wait for the dining room. Unfortunately, the chairs in the bar at the lower tables hurt my back. I won't make that same mistake again in the near future. (I'll probably forget after a while though and do it again!) The food is quite good (this time... More
