I stayed in a suite at the hotel and it was wonderful and spacious. My son loved the farm beside the accommodation. The breakfast buffet is limited but high quality. I loved so much about it. The bistro is very good for hearty food - but the fine dining restaurant is another level.

Grate atmosphere, nice music, good service. Food in the bistro was the 1 of the worst we had in the Provence so far. The main restaurant has a Michelin star, the bistro is not at all a reference. Everybody at the table was really dissapointed.

Make reservations before you go. We were not able to dine in the restaurant as it was closed on the evening we booked, but did so at the bistro on the beautiful property. We ate from choices on pre-fixe menu -meat, lamb and fish. Lovely outdoor, French country setting. Meals were beautifully presented with great quality ingredients.

We knew to expect a more formal ambience being that LaFenière is indeed a Michelin Star rated restaurant. At first it was a bit too formal to my liking. But once we were able to show the waitstaff that we simply wanted to enjoy a meal among good friends, they loosened up their personalities while still maintaining proper etiquette. Had... More

La Fenière first caught my interest when I read about it in an article in the US. I have led a gluten-free lifestyle for 16 years and was impressed by Chef Reine Sammut and Nadia Sammut. I told my chef friend who suggested we fly to France to dine at La Fenière and tour Provence. It didn't take much prodding... More

Believe it or not we traveled to Europe just to eat here. After reading a New York Times article how how this Michelin star restaurant was completely gluten free we convinced our neighbor who only eats gluten free to make the trip. We were not disappointed.Great ambience, great setting in the Provence countryside, outstanding service starting with the gin cocktail... More

We use to go to the farm at La Feniere as we're leaving not so far. The food is getting nearly bad and worst everytime, so this was the last one. The owners are very cool but do not commit themselves. The fish is dry, the typical provencal dishes once a time extraordinary are no more; a restaurant is surely... More

Lunch Visit to Auberge la Feniere- The waiter was very pleasant, and the restaurant atmosphere was good but not great. The recorded background music was loud, and kept being turned on and off throughout the meal. For lunch, it was quite expensive- over 200 Euro for the two of us having the degustation menu with wine. The food was good.... More

Much of the produce is grown on site from their huge garden (see picture). The grounds are gorgeous! As part of the hotel here.. the restaurant blends right in. We were lucky enough to have to solminer also be our server.. So needless to say we got a fantastic bottle of wine and in the budget we set for her…... More

It is always a pleasure to eat Reine Samut Provencal creations, and to bump into her the next morning, finally saying thank you. Thank you also to your husband, the "maître" for is flair, and to showcase all this talent. The Orca Côte du Ventoux is a treat, but not as much as being admitted in the rustic chic dining... More
