Loved our dinner at Lou Fanau. House rose, a very tasty ham pizza, lovey view and lovely service. The village is quiet at night and the terrasss is open to the square with a beautiful tree covered in white lights. Pretty romantic.

we were a company of four, on a sunday. we ordered the most simple dishes on the menu - salads and boiled potatos with truffles. we waited for a very long 35 minutes to be sreved and the food was not much more than tasteless. the salads were almost without dressing and the potatos were the most casual dish you... I had a solo dinner in Fontaine de Vaucluse and I chose this restaurant because of the original menu, which provided meat as well as fish and typical products of Provence. I was impressed by the quality of the food and by the low price of the standard menu! The "caraffe" of water was free.

Great pizza and trout. A very unpretentious place with memorable food. We went there for lunch and had such a good meal that we came back for dinner!!

We have been returning to this restaurant for the past 4 years and every time we have a great meal. We usually visit in July and October November and the food is equally as good in both seasons and We are normally a group of at least 6 with many different choices made. The owners and staff are always helpful... More

small charming restaurant - delicious food and very reasonably priced. The fish was excellent and so was the entrecote. Desert was a little too sweet for my taste.

When you are mainly catering to tourists who are not expected to visit Fontaine de Vaucluse more than once, why bother to be friendly and forthcoming if something is not quite right? That seems to be the attitude of both staff and the owner couple at Lou Fanau. It did not help that my truffle omelette was so undercooked that... More

Our luncheon salads were enjoyable, as was the Ventoux rosé. Why, however, does one receive a warm reception and friendly service at some Vaucluse restaurants and the sang froid treatment that we got here? I don't understand why people in the tourisme/restauranteur business can't act as though they are glad to have paying customers. By the way, we were not... More

I arrived with a friend who has eating there for many years and they were fantastic hosts . We went for a la carte as there were certain dishes he recommended. First the Truffle Omlett, then the Beef with truffles and then a creme brulee. We also had a pre dinner drink and a couple of bottles of wine. The... More
