We were staying very nearby and decided to eat in the town rather than on the coast. Reviews seemed to indicate a typical French menu and good quality food. Unfortunately the experience was a long way short of satisfactory. The menu was not exciting or individual in any way. As a result two of us went for the rib steak... More

An ideal place during the holiday season because the Colle sur Loup jazz festival is 10 meters away. So nice entertainment during a proper meal. Don't expect gourmand dinner but the food is good and the service very friendly.

I visited this restaurant on a Monday evening end August - apart from town cats there was a hardly a movement in the centre of this village - it had an end of season feeling which you expect in the last days of September . The menu was not only expensive but lacked imagination. The saving grace were the '... More

Nice place in the heart of the town. Chance of enjoying live music at the square. Very nice salmon. Dont go for the entrecot!

We were a party of 4 adults and two kids. Lunch. We tried both the pasta and the fish. The salmon dish was super, and the veggies were great provencal-style. Nice place. Will revisit next time!

My wife and I first visited this restaurant three years ago. We returned last week and were again delighted with the food, service and ambience. We took our friends Michael and Sandie, who live a few minutes away in La Colle-sur-Loup and are regular diners at this establishment. We began with starters of goat's cheese, salmon pate and Salade Nicoise,... More

My friend and I were in the area and stumbled upon this beautiful little restaurant on the "plâce". The menu was on a skate, read well and the chef had one of the cleanest jackets with the "meilleur ouvrier de France" colours around his neck ........ sold! I chose the Corsican wild boar and the souris d'agneau(waitress told us it... More

We just popped by an afternoon in October. In spite of the fact that they were ready to close after lunch, the young waiter arranged for a nice table for us in the friendly atmosphere. We had a nice lunch, a plat du jour which was chicken breast, and a nice glass of white wine. No tourists, just French local... More

Expected so much from this pretty quaint restaurant in such a sweet village, what a disappointment. The toughest piece of steak I have ever had, cold, anaemic frozen chips + my husbands salmon was dire with bland rice + a wilted piece of lettuce. Frozen bought in dessert + then totally overpriced bill, rubbish !!

We ate there mid week, the restaurant was packed and had a lovely atmosphere. We didnt have starters and had the house wine so the bill came as a bit of a shock, there are better places to eat in La Colle sur Loup for that amount of money.
