Amazing! We we in town for a wedding and stopped by for dinner while staying in the Old Market… it was well worth the visit! We had oysters (surprisingly fresh for a landlocked state) and bone marrow (3 huge bones) as appetizers. Then we each...had a steak for our meals (dry aged NY strip for my husband and ribeye for myself)… the steak themselves were really good, but what set the meal over the top were the steak add-ons. I had the black truffle special (with peppercorn sauce) and my husband the shrimp… sooooo good! The service is impeccable and drinks well made as well. One of the best restaurants in town!More

This one beat Spencer's in our opinion. Everything was just a bit nicer here than our experience with Spencer's. The service was solid, steaks were cooked well and the sides, bread and dessert were also solid. Filet was cooked perfectly and we added truffle butter...to one and a shrimp with sauce to the other. Both were good. Dessert was baked perfectly and came with several sauce options. They are attentive with every table despite being very busy for their dinner service.More

Wanted a special dining experience for Mom's 80th birthday, and 801 Chophouse delivered in every possible way. The regular cut of prime rib was cooked perfectly, and had to be at least 16 ounces. We brought a lot prime rib home. The wedge salad, with...pork belly and amazing blue cheese dressing, was the best I've ever eaten. The blueberry sorbet was incredible, and a perfect ending to a fabulous meal/experience. Can't wait for the next visit to 801.More

Top notch, 1st class attention to detail. Cocktails, wine, oysters were extraordinary. Bone in filet mignon with foie gras was sublime. Suffle was fabulous!

We were there for the College World Series, our first time in Omaha and found this restaurant top notch. The food, cocktails and service were all great.

I've eaten here since shortly after they first opened. It is beautiful, the staff is tip top and the food is so great. They are a bit spendy so we reserve this for a special occasion usually but haven't been disappointed. We actually had our...rehearsal dinner here almost 15 years ago!More

This comes with great reviews and for a very good reason. Every aspect was superb - the food, the menu, and the service. Definitely a high end (expensive) restaurant, but exceptional for that. Bone-in filet was simply outstanding, and others had the regular filet, the...NY strip. Appetizers, particularly the lobster bites, were a fantastic starter as well. Service was attentive, although a little slow (they were uber busy).More

Business Casual would be appropriate. I don't think they would refuse you in jeans - formal is not necessary. We live in FL, so we have a tendency to dress down for comfort, but in fairness, I would have been a little... More
