Visited last weekend and had the Lamb Chops and Spring Morels. What a meal to remember. I have eaten here a few times and love it. I am not from Germany though and can't seem to change my locale. I'm from Omaha area.

Just took a chance on my first visit to Omaha. Filet and New York Strip we ordered. Very tasty. Very good service, fast and friendly. Good location to walk to from my hotel.

Excellent bar. Troon is my favorite drink in Omaha. But bar drinks are way overpriced. Wonderful lamb chops are always cooked perfectly. Same with the steaks. Perfect place for special occasions.

Some of the best food I've had anywhere. It's rare to find a steakhouse (even a good one) that knows how to do a blue steak properly, but they nailed it. The sides and appetizers are amazing also. The bone marrow... the best I've ever had. Can't wait to get back to Omaha mostly to eat here again!

Expensive and a reminder you are eating at a prime restaurant. Bone-in ribeye is delicious and service was great. There was not hurry to get you in and out. I would prefer the dining area to be a little darker and this type of lighting is available in the separate bar area.

Service was impeccable, the experience was great, the meals were cooked to perfection. There is not one thing I can think of that would not make me recommend.

We had not been to Paxton for about a year. Tonight, while the service, drinks and most of the food (appetizers and salads) were excellent, the steaks were overdone. My wife ordered medium well and it was beyond well, my steak was ordered medium rare, and it was medium. The restaurant offered to cook another steak for my wife; but,... More

This is probably the 3rd best Steakhouse Downtown, sad that the other 2 which are better won't get more than 3 Trip Advisor Dots. Nebraska is the 2nd largest producer of beef after Texas which has a geographic footprint 3 times This in my opinion is the most expensive off all downtown restaurants. I won't rank the staff but they... More

We wanted to have a traditional Omaha last supper before we leave town tomorrow. Oh boy, we were not disappointed. Perfectly prepared starter salad, prime rib, sides of Mac n cheese & asparagus. The sourdough bread was yummy as well. We had ordered a soufflé. Wouldn't order another one. Tasted like raw spice cake. In spite of this, still a... More

The atmosphere is elegant and not overly noisy. Very fun. The food is tremendous. Everything from the salads to the drinks. The waitstaff is fantastic. Very professional yet friendly. The food is expensive so not a cheap dinner out.
