My husband and I drive from Lincoln which is about sixty miles from our house. The owner is nice, friendly and very busy as most of the time he is the cook. He will get to know you by sight after only a couple visits. They stay busy as they have a well deserved following of customers and a lot of... More

The chicken is good...not Great. I'm just a picky person. If I were you, I'd at least give it a shot.

Any visitor to Omaha should eat here at least once. It is a restaurant that will take you to a time long gone. When food and service were more important then the dollar bill. Richie's is the gold standard of the hole in the wall, it is loud, it is basic, it is wonderful. The kitchen is directly in front... More

Richie's chicken is not a place for healthy eating. It also is not a place you would want to eat of the floor. However if you want good fried chicken to go, that beats the national chains, hands down try Richies

Very small family diner. Known for their fried chicken. Have stopped there many times. Its not and not intended to be a five start restaurant, but if you want a good eggs/toast/potatoes or a great burger lunch they can hook you up.

This is a prime example of an old hole in the wall place. I do not think they have remodeled in 30 years. I came in blue jeans, a semi dress shirt with tennis shoes and I think that I overdressed for this place. On to the food. I started out with an order of chicken wings. The 8 wings... More

Being from the South, when we travel, we are always looking for a good, local fried chicken establishment. We read several positive reviews on Richie's fried chicken and decided to give it a try. The outside is very unassuming - kind of rickety building with plenty avail parking. Inside we were greeted warmly and took seats at the counter to... More

In the area, I stopped in for fried chicken. It's a small place with an open kitchen, a few tables and a counter. The gal was so friendly I changed my to-go order to dine in. Started with a cup of soup, which was delicious, and the huge warm roll and bread served with real butter were great and all... More

We often go to Richie's on Sundays. The food is so good. I love the fried chicken. Richie's is inexpensive, but they only take cash, so be sure to bring some. I believe the cook and owner are one in the same. He is always there and really cares about the quality of food and service customers get. The atmosphere... More
