I went for an early dinner and was told the prime rib and potato would not be ready until 5pm. So, we finally got our salad and bread to tide us over until 5pm. I do wish the server had told us the potato did not come with the steak and I would have not ordered it. But the prime rib was delicious and the potato was huge. My issue was with the lack of attention by the server. We had to ask for salt & pepper and I never got my water refilled or even asked if I wanted more.

Spencer's is an expensive place to eat. My wife and I went there because we thought we had a gift card. Our meat selections were very good. I had the Iowa chops a cut with two pork chops. They were very tender. The cut was about 1 1/4" thick and I cut it with my fork. My wife's filet was the same. The soups were a big disappointment. I had the chili which had a good taste but it was not hot, only warm. My wife's lobster bisque was not as thick as she is used to getting. It seemed to take a lot of time to receive our drinks and other food items after we ordered them. Maybe this is the norm for expensive restaurants.

We had a private party so the food was pre-selected and then delivered to our hotel conference room (the restaurant is connected to the Hilton Garden Inn). The food was good. I had the salmon. But the meal was very, very pricey. It included a salad and dessert in addition to the main course.

We split the Spencer Steak which came with a salad that we upgraded to a beet salad for $6.00 more. The side dishes we ordered were Brussels Sprouts and the hash browns. We got half orders for half price which I would recommend. The steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned and oh so tender. I can still taste it. Service was exceptional and ice tea was good.

I flew into Omaha for a quick weekend to attend a funeral for a dear friend. After an evening with family and friends we returned to our hotel which is connected to Spencer’s.
No one was in the mood to check out another restaurant even though several were close by. We were a group of 6 and were seated quickly. We ordered from the appetizer menu;
French onion soup, lobster bisque, chopped salad, roasted beet salad, crab cakes, meatballs, fries, and some wine & beers.
Bar none, the food was good and comforting after a long day. Needless to say we did not know of their many locations but when we visit another city that has a Spencer’s ... we’ll go.

We were staying at the attached Hilton and were planning to eat elsewhere when heavy rain made us rethink going out. I saw that Spencers was a little pricey (steaks $45 - $95) so I thought this must be a pretty good steak house. I had the prime rib which was a generous cut but was quite tough. No juices on the plate. My companion had crab cakes which she said contained a lot of fillers, not much crab. Server did the minimum required. All in all, far below expectations.

very inviting and comfortable bar area for solo dining. all masked and hand sanitizer on every table, was a nice touch. Pleasant and inviting staff made the menu process easy and prepared a proper cocktail. Certified Angus Beef is always my go to when I have to choose and this was quite good, if a little over done for my medium rare preference. The sides were nicely paired, though the pickled tomato on the salad was odd. Not that I disliked it, but would probably not do it again, if I had a choice. Finally, the sound track was the big detractor from the entire experience. Loud, and not in keeping with the style of a premium steakhouse. But, on the quality of the CAB and the great room, it will be worth another try on my next tour through town.

We all had steaks or prime rib and it was all, without exception, a “10” out of “10” in all areas.
What made our visit truly exceptional was our waiter, Mike. He was attentive & extremely professional and took great effort to go through the highlights of the menu, with excellent recommendations.

This restaurant was a fantastic experience from the ambiance, to the wait staff to the delicious steak dinners! Dessert was so memorable we stopped in a second night to get Carry out dessert. Their fall menu option was a great value. Highly recommend this place.

This restaurant is attached to the Hilton Garden Inn, and was very good. I had the Steak Frites, and the béarnaise sauce was excellent. Steak was cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and prompt.
This would have been a convenient place to eat nightly, but it’s very pricey. There are cheaper options close by.

There are a lot of options for steakhouses in Omaha and we opted for Spencer's based on a combination of reviews and location. We were very pleased with our choice. The steaks (large ribeye and bone-in filet) were both perfect and our server, Tyler, was on top of everything. Spencer's has a nice relaxing atmosphere and makes for a very enjoyable dining experience.

Not very impressed for an upscale steak house. I don't mind paying a premium for a nice restaurant but this place missed the mark. Walked in and the host stand was hidden. Nobody greeted us and we had to look for the host. Bread starter was very basic. Chop salad was good but the caprese salad was terrible. Service was not good. Our server had somewhat of an attitude and seemed too busy to check on our table periodically. There were no additional staff to help with drink refills or clearing plates. Long wait for entrees. Steak was average at best. Overall, we felt this restaurant was a waste of money.

Our compliments to the chef and waitstaff! My husband’s pork chop was prepared perfectly at medium rare, and the side of sweet potato hash made with chorizo was uniquely delicious. My angus beef burger was equally tasty with scrumptious toppings, and came with a huge plateful of thinly cut, nicely seasoned sweet potato fries. We would definitely stop here again when our travels bring us through Omaha. Spencer’s was very conveniently located adjacent to our Hilton Garden Inn.

I was here for a conference. The service was exceptional. Food was good, steak seemed to have spent to much time under the warmer as the exterior was dry. All the food for the group of 30+ came out around the same time. I had the filet, with mashed garlic potatoes, seasonal veggies, caesar salad and a chocolate dessert.

From 4 to 6 a value packed happy hour menu is available
How about a delicious bowl of onion soup and a wedge salad for $10
I had a 1/2 pound burger with sweet potato fries and a draft beer for$15.
The burger was the best I have had in years. all in all a great meal
