This longtime Ralston restaurant closed in June 2014. It had been demolished and rebuilt after the 1975 tornado.

I had the grasshopper drinkable dessert....wasn't impressed...the picture made it look much better. The Ruben was average...about the same as an Arby's Ruben. ..service is slow
Had the hot beef sandwich. It was cold. The gravy was fake as were the mashed potatoes. The beef was deli meat. Pretty sure it was Italian beef. Disgusting! Our server Terry was great but didn't make up for the most disgusting meal I've ever...More

We have been going to Grandmothers for over 20 years---dining in and take out. Still a great value and great food. My kids are grown and still always want to go there when they are around. They still serve free nachos with liter of margaritas!!
This place is great for lunch. I have been there several times with my co-workers. They have the most amazing onion soup. The onion rings are THE BEST in Omaha as well. I recommend the club sandwich, SO GOOD!
