Whether you live here or are just visiting , this is a not -to be -missed view. The rare prairie-city cannot be seen as such a spot on the prairie any other way. The true beauty of humans coming together against the empty natural beauty is a stark contrast in any season. Oh, and the people who work here are... More

This is the best steakhouse in Springfield IL. The service is very good and the view of the state capital from the top floor is incredible. The place is expensive and at par with any place in St Louis or Chicago. We had the filet mignon and was excellent and perfectly prepared. You need to order additional servings of mash... More

Had a great "accidental" experience here while visiting a family member in the hospital. Love that this restaurant was in our hotel. Even better was the amazing food selection and wine. The view did not disappoint and special thanks to our chef who came out to check on us twice!

I treated a friend to dinner at Nick & Nino's just before Christmas. We were seated promptly. Our server was attentive and informative. View was absolutely spectacular. The wine list was extensive. The food was not as impressive. The calamari appetizer was decent. Mushroom and arugula soup was good but very sparse. We both got steaks since the restaurant is... More

This restaurant is on the 30th floor of the Wyndham Hotel in Springfield. We arrived just before sunset, and the views are spectacular. Denise greeted us and seated us. She was so kind - we had spoken by phone when she called to confirm our reservation, and it she was just as charming in person. Rick was our knowledgeable waiter,... More

One of the best meals I have ever had! I had a 45 day aged ribeye. It was $44. With tat you can pick a crust topping and a sauce. I picked a mushroom one and it was delish. Sides are alacart. You do get a starter. I highly recommend the lobster bisque. It was creamy and rich with a... More

My husband and I visited Springfield on Labor Day weekend. After researching restaurants in the city, I decided that Nick & Nino's would be the perfect place to have a wonderful dinner on Saturday. First, it was very hard to find a phone number to call to make reservations. Thanks to the great hotel we stayed in, they provided a... More

I came here for my birthday dinner and I was not disappointed! They start you off with a bread basket, which comes with an assortment of breads including candied cinnamon raisin bread (sooo good!), asiago flatbread, and garlic rolls. My mother got the gespatcho to start which was excellent and came in three flavors - including one that had watermelon.... More

Went here to celebrate an anniversary and we weren't disappointed. From the moment we entered the hostess was warm and friendly and greeted us like long lost relatives. Our waiter, Rick, was excellent. He gave us space when we needed it , didn't rush us, and was warm and friendly. The food was excellent, some of the best potato gnocchi... More
