This restaurant is on the 30th floor of the Wyndham Hotel in Springfield. We arrived just before sunset, and the views are spectacular. Denise greeted us and seated us. She was so kind - we had spoken by phone when she called to confirm our reservation, and it she was just as charming in person. Rick was our knowledgeable waiter,... More

One of the best meals I have ever had! I had a 45 day aged ribeye. It was $44. With tat you can pick a crust topping and a sauce. I picked a mushroom one and it was delish. Sides are alacart. You do get a starter. I highly recommend the lobster bisque. It was creamy and rich with a... More

My husband and I visited Springfield on Labor Day weekend. After researching restaurants in the city, I decided that Nick & Nino's would be the perfect place to have a wonderful dinner on Saturday. First, it was very hard to find a phone number to call to make reservations. Thanks to the great hotel we stayed in, they provided a... More

I came here for my birthday dinner and I was not disappointed! They start you off with a bread basket, which comes with an assortment of breads including candied cinnamon raisin bread (sooo good!), asiago flatbread, and garlic rolls. My mother got the gespatcho to start which was excellent and came in three flavors - including one that had watermelon.... More

Went here to celebrate an anniversary and we weren't disappointed. From the moment we entered the hostess was warm and friendly and greeted us like long lost relatives. Our waiter, Rick, was excellent. He gave us space when we needed it , didn't rush us, and was warm and friendly. The food was excellent, some of the best potato gnocchi... More

My husband took me here to try something different in Springfield. Food was just ok. Service was above average. Atmosphere was good, view was good. If you want to spend money on something different it will do but as far as food? Not so sure.

Highly recommended despite the cost! Host was very nice. Our server, not so much, he was rude towards my husband, didn't even introduce himself, had no insight when asked for a recommendation, etc. The food was the perfect portions and delicious. View at sunset was gorgeous. Despite the rude service I look forward to visiting again.

We ended up coming here , just looking for a place to eat. We really had no expectations. We were so pleasently surprised. First, the people were so nice and gracious. The hostess, as well as the server. Nice people. The view was great. 30 stories up, looking over the city. Just lovely. Finally, and most importantly, the food. It... More

Mu wife and I have been to Nick & Nino's Penthouse which is located on the top floor of the hotel overlooking Springfield, IL. The view is fantastic but: 1. They are demanding on reservations. It's hard to do "walk-ins". 2. The menu is very large. We tried the steak. It was not worth the money. 3. As state, the... More
