Had their catering for three days in a row and they did a great job, sandwich/salad, pasta/salad, baked potato bar/salad. The food was fresh, hot and reasonable.

I wasn't expecting an order at the counter setup, but the service was prompt. My pulled pork was a little dry, but the barbeque sauce made up for it. Fries were nice and crispy.

The food here is good. You can't go wrong with any of the home made soups. Loaded baked potato and cream of broccoli are the best in town. The pulled pork and pulled chicken are excellent and so are the BBQ sauces. The au gratin potatoes are positively addicting. I would kill for the recipe. The lunch special of 1/2... More

Food was wonderful. Potato and chicken soups were great. Pulled pork sandwiches were top notch. Good bbq sauce, much better than hickory rivers sauce but the place needs work. The decor is terrible. Who ever came up with the idea that old rotten wood was decoration? The plastic flowers and salt n pepper shakers are tacky. The tables are too... More

We have found recently that some of the old standby's we used to go to for lunch have slipped a little so we gave this a try. It was surprisingly good for a soup, salad, sandwich type lunch. Service was a little hectic, but the food was good, tasty, and there were a fair number of choices. We don't usually... More

If you are looking for a coup or bowl of soup give Mc Cormick's a try. I have been going to Mc Cormicks for years and always enjoyed their soup and now go on Fridays for their fish fry. The fish fry may not be up to Wisconsin standards but does offer a chance to have a cup of soup... More

I grew up in Springfield, and every time I go back to visit, I enjoy a horseshoe or two (we don't have them in NC). Tried McCormick's with a friend on my last trip, and it was very good - better, in my opinion, than D'Arcy's Pint. The cheese sauce had a definite beer tang to it, which I loved.... More

I've been here twice now with mixed results. Both visits were for lunch and the price was reasonable each time (about $10 for lunch). The service both times was fine and the atmosphere is pleasant. I got the special the first time which was a pulled pork ponyshoe. I was wary but decided to try it and found that it... More
