The restaurant is very nicely decorated with very eclectic and unusual rooms, however we found it to be very damp and therefore very cold which is not a nice atmosphere to eat in. The staff was unprofessional and absent minded. They brought one menu for a table of five. They brought each person's starter at a different time. One person... More

We were going to take a side trip outside of Rome to see Castel Gondolfo, the summer residence of Pope Francis. I checked on Trip Advisor for a place for the 5 of us to have lunch. The Arte e Vino restaurant struck me right off – it was charming, old and inviting. After our tour of the castle, we... More

Food was terrible. The waiter failed to serve all the food we ordered and we even had to argue over the payment. Totally overpriced wine. Not a place to recommend

Nice location in a small town few km from Rome, the place of Pope's summer residence. Warm and pleasant place. Good food from appetizers to dessert, wines and coffee. Very professional service

Nothing special for all the recommendations we received. The restaurant is dirty and could use a cleaning not to mention the food is not prepared fresh.

We visited this restaurant specially as the reviews seemed good and the place looked different, Whilst we are tourists and don't speak Italian ( and before you comment I know we are in Italy) but the menu was only in Italian OK then ask for some assistance which we did but the waitress could not be bothered to try to... I have been to this restaurant for dinner with some friends. We didn't book but, even if the restaurant was full, they managed to accommodate as. We decide for antipasti della casa, that ended up in being a full meal with at least 10 course. The food was excellent and the place really peculiar. Only a little bit too noisy,... More

Oh dear! - The food was very good but the place was let down by a shambolic lack of organisation. We ordered - with prosciutto and melon to start. Not too difficult you might think, but we waited and waited as others were served and eventually had to ask four more times for the food. Then delicious pasta and a... More

Fabulous location, superb service and really eclectic design throughout: can sit outside on a beautiful Summer's day or in one of the three dining areas, each one styled differently as the clock room, Pinocchio room or map room. The food was delicious especially the Arte e Vino antipasto for two. This had plate after plate of tasty dishes, all served... More

Not only was the food brilliant but everywhere you looked was something interesting to look at. The display of fruit and vegetables was impressive and provided amusement with some of the weird shapes. We enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere sitting at an outside table, watching the 'theatre' of the street, the applause as bridal parties made their way past and... More
