My friend and his wives go here all the time when they are in Cambridge . On a recent trip with them we stoped in, I tried the Brussels sprout sandwich and it was awesome. This was an amazing combination of ingredients and delicious ....The Brussels sprout sandwich is not always on the menu.More
On late Saturday afternoon, we stopped by Clover food lab for late lunch. Not good experience. It was not busy time. The server's forgot to call my name, they left our order until we asked. it was more than 20 minutes or so. It was...not busy time and they did not remember customer who order what waiting inside. The food was not too bad, but my cucumber salad got a lot of water, my husband's chickpea fries were too hard. I got apple soda, it had no flavor, very washy, mostly ice, not worth of money. Soups were good. Before we left I wanted to go to restroom, so I asked the key code one of the staff, she answered "Its' for customer!!" I am!! She just did not remember I paid and ate the food there!! Another person I asked where I order was also not nice. Restroom was very dirty, smelled bad.
I won't go back or recommend to anyone.More
Offbeat place that's good for breakfast or lunch.
Promote that they are very environmentally conscious: local food, compost and recycle everything. I like the idea but was put off when I saw the sign that said (something like) eating at clover will help save the...world but that tells you something about the style.
Also didn't like that people who use their app jump to the front of the line -- ahead of the people actually in the store waiting. THey are not alone but it's a bad practice.
Food is good. I should stop criticizing.More
Clover is simply not worth it. I miss the good old days when you could get a chickpea fritter sandwich for $5. Now the price is double and portions have been reduced. Good luck finding anything on the menu with a good amount of protein....Plus they take so much time explaining the menu to each customer. Each time I get lured in (because let's face it, the food is tasty), I tell myself never again.More
If you want freshly made,( as in before your eyes) delicious, nutritious & local grower sourced for a reasonable price (free bubbly H2O on tap!) with compostable everything...THIS is your kid of place. They are always open, so night owls & earliest birds can feed...happily. People watching from the window seats completes the experience.More
Where did all the Clovers come from. A novel new brand just a few years ago they’re everywhere now competing with Tatte to be the new Au Bon Pain. And on the outside Darwin’s remains in the mix. Clover seems like it’s healthy stuff and...it’s edible but in the great interiors and even with the addition of beer you’ll be stuck between eating out and Au Bon Pain: reconcile yourself that that’s the neighborhood you want to be in dining experience-wise and all will be fine.More
We first discovered Clover when they were a food truck by MIT and became addicted to the popovers and breakfast sandwiches. Then started going to this location, first in what is now the Smith Center in Harvard Square. I love the mezze platter and my...husband is devoted to the eggplant and egg sandwich. we both love their pita bread and an order of the rosemary fries barely makes it out the door. Outstanding service, possibly the friendliest we've ever encountered, in all their locations. All that godd for you tasty food no doubt.More
